Velek

Velek Zurel (7th Level, Half-Elf, Cleric, Male)

Clothing/Gear: Velek wears formal black and red clergy robes that have been enchanted to act as +2 robes of protection with studded leather beneath them.

Special Abilities: Cunning Wit, diplomacy.

Special Possessions: Staff of Levitation (works as the spell, holds 20 charges), +2 mace. Lantern of Poison Gases (Type H - ingested, 1-4 hours, 20/10 dmg).

Combat: Velek is quick minded and clever. He'll never put himself in a bad situation if possible. Will also work in numbers and try to gain the upper hand at all costs. He will retreat if it means saving his life, otherwise he will press the fight unless everyone or thing is expended. Velek will always cast spells first, then use his lantern and then go into melee if required.

Spells include; (3,3,2,1) Bless, Cure Light Wounds, Entangle/ Heat Metal, Hold Person, Produce Flame/Dispel Magic x2, Summon Insects/Giant Insect.

Personality: Velek is cruel and cunning. He is exceptionally smart and uses the guise of the temple to hide his true intentions. To another's face he seems honorable, yet strict, compassionate but unswerving. He will act in favor of Meyaden (Elspir's high priest) but only to his own advantages. His true self is well hidden and those that might accuse him of an evil minded nature may soon find themselves in prison as Velek has many underlings, spies and strong arms under his command.

Occupation/Title: Cleric of Loki/Priest.
