A Dungeons & Dragons film reboot

Post by Lukafio »

:pop: Looks like Hasbro has not given up on the idea to reboot the D&D movies. Last year John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein announced that they had co-written a new draft of the script. Chris Pine, Michelle Rodriguez and Justice Smith are listed as three of the actors thus far. The current release date from Paramount is planned for May 27, 2022.
These are the three previous movies. :charge

I only ever saw the original one. I suppose it can't possibly be worse than that one.

For the pitiful job they did on the first three, I actually enjoyed and saw the plot potential for the first and third ones. Knowing what a big D&D geek Van Diesel, I wonder if he will try to get in on it.

Edit: corrected a spelling error.

Yeah, Chris Pine is an odd choice instead. I wonder if this film is going to be set in the same generic setting as the old movies, or a new one?
