My usual summer vacation has been canceled this year due to C-19, but I thought I'd share a photo of the event from a few years ago.
This is an aerial view of the Pennsic War encampment. This image doesn't quite capture all of it. There are still some campsites beyond the bottom right corner of the picture. Also, there are campsites all through the woods around the lake that are hidden by the trees.
This is what an encampment of 10-12,000 people looks like.

Wow, makes the Ren Faire I go to every year (although probably not this year, come to think of it) seem downright dinky in comparison.

Makes lots of Ren Faires look dinky ... we need to up our Ren game and get to this sorta scale.
