Another example of what's wrong with D&D these days

Post by Halaster-Blackcloak »

It really just makes me shake my head in derision. Here's a perfect example of what's wrong with the game these days:

https://kotaku.com/d-ds-upcoming-advent ... 1825935283

"D&D's grossest monster". Uh-huh. Spews blood and bile all over. Uh-huh. Sounds like 5th graders trying to out-gross one another. Stupid. And to make it even more stupid, it has a CHA 25 (out of a possible score of 20, whatever that means in editions these days). Like I said, after 2E, it was all downhill.

Hahaha, Jaded that cracked me up. And Halaster's response was great too.

My biggest complaint was that Kotaku should know better - Mordenkainen's Tome of Foes isn't an adventure its a supplement. ((Speaking in the voice of the Comic Store owner from The Simpsons)).

Kotaku couldn't find their way out of a wet paper bag that had ripped in half, let alone know better. The real question of this thread is why is Halaster even going to Kotaku in the first place, weh!
The Kobold gonna kobold.
