Guns and Roses- Sweet child o' mine, 1987. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1w7OgIMMRc4
One controversial front man to be sure. I remember the Metallica debacle when James burned his arm and had to be rushed to the hospital and Axl lost it during G&R's performance and walked off stage, shortening their set. Fans tore the hall to pieces.
I just heard on the radio that Slash and Axl are actually talking again. That of all people Fred Durst is playing peacemaker between the two rock icons. Say what you will about G&R and Axl's temper tantrums, this band brought legitimacy back to rockn'roll & trampled underfoot the age of hair bands in their prime. Like many; my feelings about GNR are a mixed bag.

Fleetwood Mac'- Rhiannon, 1975 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U_aYibUx1B8
I grew up on Fleetwood Mac' and this song is about a Welsh witch form poetry and legend.
I first heard her legend from Hugin the bard. He calls her "Rhiannon of the birds".
