The Third Imperium

Post by BryantTheSwordsman »

So one of my gaming buds gave me a list of PDFs that he wanted me to find for him. Out of these books was Traveller(Mostly black cover). I started to read it and I was wondering what is some of your guy's opinions on it. Thanks

I can help with some of those items. What series does he want?

I love the game by the way. It's a solid sci-fi setting for the most part. The only real problem I have with it is the character creation method for groups that hate the random aspect.

I personally love the random generation. I have the Mongoose version that has an injury table instead of death for failure of the survival roll. Should I use the Iron Man rule though? The book gives a good excuse to use it.

Traveller - oh my God, what memories...

I was playing a woman in black leather with waist-long, dark red curls. An ex-dominatrix that had run afoul of the local oragnized crime and foud refuge as a medical assistant in a starship whose captain was running a commerce in illegal xenomedicine - and then the GM moved out of town and everything stopped!
