Savage worlds and World of Darkness

Post by Wizard_of_Wumbo »

i have a growing interest in both of these games, as far as savage worlds i really want to play the savage world of Solomon Kane, and for world of darkness i mean the version with vampire the masquerade and mage the awakening. The one where you can have your werewolves play with your vampires and mages and nobody is really overpowered compared to the others.

So, has anyone played any of these games? are they fun? are they worth a try?

I had tried the older version of Werewolf, and I DLed the newest books for it. I'd have to say that the newest edition looks really, really good. The battles are more intense and lend themselves more to roleplaying than other systems.

I'll second IL. I've got the core WoD book and Mage; they're both great books if you have the money. I'd also recommend the armory books if you play regular WoD as your heroes will no doubt need weapons to deal with the creepy crawlys in the night.

This would be a great system to run Cthulhu in as well!
