Announcing PBMB on PADnD!

Post by Jenara »

Here at The Planet we have decided to start running PBMB games again.

The first game will be presided by our very own Lady Winter Wolf (I told you to dust off those books!!) A freeform Dungeon Crawl, using the 2nd Edition.

If you are interested, please reply to this Announcement and either myself or LWW will get in contact with you. You can also send a PM to either one of us.

Just to let you know, we already have dice roller utilities, http://www.padnd.com/utilities/online_d ... oller2.htm and Character profilers for 3e.

We hope to expand rapidly, with new games, including a trip down Memory Lane, old TSR Modules and Dragon Magazines, where you can use some of your favourite characters from the past (so time to dig out those old sheets).

I hope you all are as excited as I am about this, Cole has some great things waiting for those brave enough to take this new step.

2E books falling off the shelf, papers flying in all directions, and....

LWW chasing after the cats, yelling at them, "Give me back those dice!!!"

..."Where the hell are my maps?"

..."OMFG, one of the dogs just ate my DM guide!!!"

..."Aaaaaarrrrrrggggggghhhhhh!!!!!"

...No Jenara, I'm not in panic mode at all.

When I was asked to DM a game, I said that "I would think about it.
Somehow it was assumed that meant "yes, I would do it now".

To save embarrassment and not contradict, I went along with this.....now I wish I hadn't. :(

Seriously, I wasn't ready for it, seem not to be able to communicate my details enough, or assume/anticipate the actions of the characters.

I wish the gun wasn't jumped on this. :(

Hey, you never know, the game might keep on, and give others the idea to start one too. Only time will tell.....

See, you are all powerful. The game continues, as it should..

More games will start sooner or later, BUT, you were the first.

I think my departure shocked a few people... Hey, just like sex sells so does contraversy...!

Sex plus drama equals a car fire, and you know how folks love to stop and look at those; sometimes even adding fuel to the fire

But we had to disappoint those folks though, as we didn't even have the visibility of a spark.

I returned here after an absence of a veeeery long time (we're talking years) primarily cos I had a 'pbmb itch' I needed to scratch. Seems like I may have shown up at the right time, if there aren't any yet. :P

I'd be happy to run a 3.5 ed game sometime in the not-too-distant future, and I'm quite keen to play a 4ed game (cos I have the books, but haven't yet played it at all) run by someone else. So yeah, anyway... um... that's about it.

All games greatly accepted, PM me and we'll talk about it.
(I'm one of the three "Sub" admins over on the gaming side)

We have two 2ed games running at the moment with another planned, a 3.5e game would be just what we need to expand our range. You would need to do some advertisement though.

I believe here might be a someone is thinking about running a 4e game, but I'm not going to put my foot in my mouth again and say they are. I'll leave it up to them.
