3E is your best and most popular bet as you have seen here. I would make my case, but so many others already have. 4E may eventually top it, but not any time soon. You might be the old geezer by the time that happens.

I would say that if I absolutely had to choose one of those in the list, it'd probably be 3.5, because i could run with already existing supplements, and continue with Pathfinder stuff.

As it stands, I don't play any of those...and probably won't ever.
