My first guess would be one of the Planet of the Apes movies, but I can't narrow it down between one of the many originals or one of the newer ones. So I'm going with my second guess which is the original Jurassic Park.

Love those guesses (because it totally fits) and really dig those movies, but they are incorrect. It is neither Jurassic Park nor any of the Planet of the Ape franchise.
