Re: Check In Everyone!
Alive and kicking. Working five days a week now instead of the six to seven days a week I was working from fall of 2020 to mid-summer of 21.
Life is strange.

Re: Official Forum Upgrades/Restoration Complete!
So, Cole, is there anything that we, the site admins, or we, the general users, do to prevent the site from a repeat of this incident?

PADnD IS BACK!
That was quite a scare. The whole site, just gone. It's back now, and that is a good thing. But the thought of it being gone for good made me really think hard about how much fun this site has been for me in the past. I've been away for a while. Real life took some crazy turns, and for a while I was...

Re: Official Forum Upgrades/Restoration Complete!
I would like to take this opportunity to thank Cole for his efforts, and congratulate him on his success, in restoring these forums. This website means a lot to us. Hearing that the data had been lost was like losing a friend, and really made me think about how important to me this place has been ov...

Re: Spellbooks and YOU
I have to support the one day per level rule for scribing spells into a spellbook. I am a calligrapher. My work is posted here on padnd. I work with pen and ink, paint and brushes. I write words in my native language, using the same alphabet I use on a daily basis (albeit the letters look somewhat d...

That is what makes the whole thing bearable. Better to be going crazy at work than going crazy looking for work.garhkal wrote:Be thankful both of you have jobs still!

Re: Gaming and the vaccine..
Four months later, and now I've had both shots and am totally vaccinated (or 'vaxxed to the max' as I like to say). Unfortunately, my work hours have quadrupled, and I don't actually have time to try putting together an in-person D&D group now. :( I feel your pain, JDM. I've been working six da...

Re: Right for the wrong reasons. Covid-19 and climate change
There are so many anti-science movements over on this side of the world. Climate Change Deniers, Anti-Vaxxers, Anti-Maskers, Creationists, Flat Earthists, Moon Landing Deniers , just to name a few. There is a lot of overlap between them, and they are growing in numbers, too. This is largely due to ...

Re: Are you looking for a character name?
Yeah, there's a TON of material there.
I find myself using the Roman supplement most often, because the Great Kingdom in my campaign is patterned after Rome right before the fall.

That'd probably be a question for the owner, Cole.
