2E books falling off the shelf, papers flying in all directions, and.... LWW chasing after the cats, yelling at them, "Give me back those dice!!!" ..."Where the hell are my maps?" ..."OMFG, one of the dogs just ate my DM guide!!!" ..."Aaaaaarrrrrrggggggghhhhhh!!!!!...

Happy Birthday Best Wishes

Post what your birthdate is, and it will be added to the list. When that month comes about, a Happy Birthday post will be made to the birthday babies of that month. ( Just a lil 'administrative note': in order to be able to read the 'calendar' I'll be triming the posts from time to time so we can a...

Go for it!

I used this in my final "Guild of Thieves" adventure series, and my players kicked up a stink about it. Yes, the pun was intended.

From high on top the castle, the crazy mage (Kaber) and his wacky werewolf mate (LWW) plot and devise the vilest of creations. Ok, I usually have to follow him around and hand him the things he’s looking for cause he’s one of those absentminded kind of wizards. Anyways, through sheer imagination, we...

However, I have gamed with others who played paladins and took their characters so seriously, they kept wanting to kill members of the party because they weren't up to the paladin's standards of "goodness". Annoying, to say the least. Came to the point we had to tell one member that he wa...

When first learning 3E, the first character I created was a female halfling paladin....long story, but she ended up being a fun character to play, and interacted with the rest of the party well. Basically, she was a paladin in training, mentored by a ghost paladin, and always looking for something t...

Actually, if it helps you become more attuned to your character, and understand facets of the character, his/her behavior will be easier to determine when action is needed during the game. What you mention isn't way overboard, but I've gamed with folks who have pages and pages of details on their ch...

First I decide what race and class I am, then I find a picture that personifies the character; make up a biography, roll the dice and off I go. Having a picture and story helps me visualize the character, so I understand better how to develop it further on.

In 2001, my co-worker introduced me to the "Justicar" series of books, and after reading those novels, I became hooked. So, he started teaching me 1E, and I became adept enough to adventure into 2E....and the addiction was complete. That was also around the time that we both joined Planet....

Hmmm, I've taken this test before, elsewhere, and usually come up with the same alignment. I believe I'm in a rut. :tired:
