Re: ATTN Planet Members: Did you know ...

Why not? You can meet lots of fun people... yeah then they completely forget who you are when you disappear for a few years :o I guess that could be annoying... But not as annoying as people who promise to run games and then vanish... Lol Anyway I digress, the Facebook page is useful, kind of fun.

Actually, my advice is simple: play what edition you like. In a properly run roleplaying game, the rules should be more or less transparent.
Just like the man says, play what you like, hell you can play without rules if that takes your fancy.

Savage Worlds

So I was wondering what the views were on this? I actually like the system a lot, the basic nature of the game, and the way the game is defined by players actions reminds me a lot of the more classic editions, hell there is even an add on to make your game just like 1e!! 2nd Ed (its what I know)

3.5 Ed (Blame Kafen) Plus a teeny bit of Pathfinder
Paladium Rules

Phin, Sometimes its the the PC's, either they are too stubborn to accept that sometimes walking away is the greatest victory, plus some players seem to feel that the DM couldn't possibly kill them and they do, trust me. But as you have pointed out death isn't an issue here. As Serian says, give them...
