Hence the title, lurking with a paint brush. This brought an idea that I haven't seen here in a while. Who uses minis for dnd? What min...

Re: So, what can YOU do?

My resume is pretty short compared to Cole's but I got some skills. I know how to shoot a rifle, and teach others how to do so effectively. I can survive on field, such as hygiene, shelter, and all that good stuff. I know combat care and how to treat wounds quickly. I know land nav, so I can know wh...

FATE CORE

Just Posting about a new rpg system I found called FATE Core. Was wondering if anybody had experience with running it or playing in it. Its very free form and kinda a weird for me to run compared to Dungeons and Dragons but looks like a really good system. Anyone got any tips and advice?

I'm a big fan of savage world's. Wizard of Wumbo is too
I have many books for it too, like fantasy companion and
Weird Wars 2. I done renaissance games like Solomon Kane
easier too. Good system all around.

Re: Class based system or skill based system?

I like skill based myself. My favorite systems are Savage worlds
Alternity(bonus points for crimsonkobold), and the Warhammer 40k
systems like only war and black crusade.

Requesting all Inquistors, Rogue Traders, and Space Marines.

I picked up Deathwatch a while ago for one of my gaming groups who enjoys the 40k universe. I would like to run a game for my other group, but they no little to nothing about the 40k universe. I was wondering if anybody who is familiar with the universe go about introducing them to the grim, dark fu...

I personally love the random generation. I have the Mongoose version that has an injury table instead of death for failure of the survival roll. Should I use the Iron Man rule though? The book gives a good excuse to use it.
