That's really interesting that you got the result Lawful Good, but you're the only individual with Evil points! lol

I've taken many of these before and I almost always end up Chaotic Good with Neutral tendencies on the law/chaos scale.

Here's my scores:

Law: 2
Chaos: 4
Good: 6
Evil: 0

Personally, I'd like to see another book like Deities and Demi-gods that had pantheons and godlings from various cultures and several characters from contemporary literature as well.

As a player: Favorite: anything with a low morale score. Mostly goblins or kobolds. I love making those things flee in terror! Hated: Oozes - man, nothing worse than watching a glowing glob of Jell-O eat your weapons and digest your friends! Crappiest: Dire Animals (Mostly a 3ed thing) - not just a ...

Cole developed his own system and I was in the middle of working on one until all these commissions came in. I like them and the ideas that people bring to the table. You play a game like D&D and things start to get a little stale on the character concept side of things, but you let people know ...

Now THAT is more like what my group sounds like. They know that I'm willing to throw in little bonuses/penalties for targeting certain areas and using certain maneuvers. You're right, too, that is could certainly lend to custom proficiencies. In fact, they would make great "branches" for t...

Player: "I draw my arrow, sizing up the length for aim. Knocking it to the string I pull back, feathers brushing my face, and I let fly!!!" DM: "Your arrows flight is interrupted as it ricochets off the goblin's iron helmet." Player: "Cursing the gods, I draw forth my black ...

Yeah.....see.....I've yet to meet anyone that RPs quite to that extent.... Of course I've known players who, even in melee combat, will target their blows. "I attempt to strike the Hobgoblin's left leg, where the armor is missing." I typically allow this with only minor penalties, but if t...

I would say that Navy Seals would be considered Lawful Neutral. The mission is the ONLY thing. They may cause the least damage possible, but only if it's expedient.

I completely agree that both choices in the examples are "Good", but also, the Law/neutrality/chaos axis comes into play. Lawful Good characters SHOULD go for the trapped miners since they are in immediate danger, where as the crime boss is a preventative measure. Why do I say that? Becaus...

So, if I read this correctly, you're saying that you'd roll a d20 AND a d6. If they match up you get some sort of bonus, right?

Is this going to be used for fighters only?

I thought you were talking about the character Katten, not the player. I may have misread that, but that was how I interpreted that whole scenario. :P

You'll have to be more specific, CK. What exactly do you mean by "More combat options than just the standard attack"?

There will be a poll posted after the deadline ends to determine the winner, so it'll be up to the minions of PADnD to decide how many points are removed for balance!
