Gregor grabbed some bread and cheese and headed out for his errands. Let me know when he gets back to the inn.

His errands will only take an hour or so, so he can hop back anytime.

Gregor wrote: Tue Nov 28, 2023 1:04 pm Gregor whips his head back from the odor and in doing so splashes the full contents of the pot onto the barman (planned move - see initiative roll). Smells like piss - you can keep it, he remarks and tosses the urn onto Ledalar's feet behind the bar. Looks like we're leaving. Have fun cleaning that up moron, Gregor cackles as he exits the inn.
Ledalar doesn't need init, he was ready ;)

Let's get a dex check to avoid his arm being caught by the bartender ;)

Small soil samples with drops of blood/berry juice? placed in tinderbox. Tinder dumped if needed.

Sounds good, it's a little damp but wont hurt the tinder much. Whether you dump or not depends on how much dirt you want. The tinder box is about the size of an altoids canister

If the box is divided I can move the tinder for the short time it will take to transport it. Not going to gather that much of it - trying to get a few drops of the stained soil to see if the senses might give it away.

Hey can I get an "RAI" interpretation for detect noise in this world? It's been in a quiet environment for me previously but I like the more liberal application.

Mostly for defining what a sound is, or detecting faint sounds in certain circumstances. Basically the way it reads in the phb. Sometimes I allow an improvised use of it, like picking out a particular faint conversation in a bar or group setting if you speak the language, etc.

And if there is something that isn't covered in the description you want to try we can think about it and see if we can make a logical case for it being applicable

It sounds like someone playing a violin loud enough to be barely heard over the waterfall. The song is a doleful, mourning kind of dirge...

Gregor attempts to tumble out of the "falls prone" condition (back to the party if possible):

Tumbles (16 dex): [1d20]=10

Tumble successful if applicable.

Just to see if I understand this correctly, the beastman takes full damage from an iron blade but nothing from a steel blade? Or is it silver that is required to hit the beastman?
