I would not mind some kind of item hiding fact she is a drow ,, like a change self type item which works continuously.

So she wpuld appear huamn instead of dark elvish

So she is 5th level Rogue/Thief, no kit.

I will not mark any MR or innate abilities.

She was born on the surface and is actually the daughter of one of my pc's back in the 90's.

So being born on the surface, she never has been to the Underdark, thus I believe she should not have any

of the Drow bonuses or hindrances associated with being in teh Underdark or surface, even the +2 Sv bonus.

Thoughts?

Ok, that works, if you want to do the 'surface born' thing without special powers then we can ignore the additional 20% xp req and she'll actually be lvl 6

So for something to disgise she is a drow... hmm...

There is a little-known item called the Ring of Impersonation, we could say she has a modified version of it that fits the 500xp mag item allowance for this game.

So essentially she would activate it each morning and it would last all day unless deactivated. The form stored is the same unless she changes it for someone else she knows well.

So as long as she doesn't run into Strahd or Azalin, hey, she should be fine?

What are your Drow racial ability bonuses?

I will note she is 6th level and roll another dice for hp!

I really like Ravenloft btw.

Btw, the posts for char creation rolls are fine but for gameplay Unseen Servant roller is much preferred. (And it doesn't require attachments)

You don't have to use the char sheet there, but you can essentially create a char name and link it to campaign id 352.

Also, for the re-recruit the new players will get an extra 200 gp starting cash (to catch up a little with where the current pcs are)

So, how much starting gold does she get at level 6?

do the starting gold roll then +200gp
the magic item is meant to be part of her gain since level 1 (which looks like the ring of impersonation at this point).

Some basic gear can probably be free too (like leather or studded leather armor, normal weapons, etc)

I was wondering if in er travels she was able to get a nice gnomish armor from the arms n equip book,,, it does no hamper thieving abilities

PS I forgot how to roll on unseen how do you roll 3d6 cause if you enter that it does not work lol

for the roll you have to use the brackets over the dice like [1d20] or [3d6+2], etc

Ok, we can say since she is mid level she had some dealings w/gnomes who she helped in some way and in appreciation they made Gnomish leather for her.
I couldn't find cost/ weight for it so unless you see that, let's call it:
Gnomish Workman's Leather (AC 7)
40gp (rare, hard to find the skill, good matl) and 20 lbs (lighter than studded, heavier than leather b/c of extra matl for pockets) this can be her free armor
-no penalty to thief skills
-holds up to 10 lbs of small items in pockets (half of which are hidden
