It's not until later, just a little before sundown. He explains. She talked about you a lot...

"That makes me feel better and.. She was coming to see me, when.." Mira explains, her own fear and nerves meaning she needs to repeat a few words as she talks. "I cared for her, she was a good friend." wiping away a genuine tear she drops her head. "Was she staying here?"

Sundown, in her mind that felt like just the time for a creepy thing to start killing, it obviously only came out at night.

Staying here? No, there aren't really any rooms for people to stay the night here. Her family has an estste in town.

"Sorry, I'm still new to your land." Mira flushes in embarrassment, "I just wish she wasn't travelling at Night, its not safe no matter where you are. I keep wishing..." she places her hand on the bridge of her nose. "I could I play something, at the Memorial, one of her favourite songs of mine?"

Oh.. that would be lovely, I think. But you'd have to clear it with the coordinator. Mrs Tsamin is taking charge of the details.

Merrick translates the conversation quietly for the party nearby.

Jerry looks around, but the immediate surroundings don't show any clear indications of having been the hunting grounds of a vampire. The trail leading here indicates it may be within the creature's typical feeding grounds, unless the intent was specifically to find prey nearby the inn for the purpose of killing right outside their door...

Pyros will have his nose to the ground with Jerry.

Unless his personal side mission becomes an option.

"Could you tell me where I might find Mrs Tsamin? Please...?" She asks kindly, aware that she was the outsider here.

"Thank you." She bows and then moves the others away a little.

"Ok, I'm going to go in, and see what I can find out. They are holding a service for my Friend and I plan to be part of it, these people mean something to me." She explains keeping her voice low but in Common. "Do one of you Trackers want to join me while while some of you look for the trail? My mind goes back to old Stories about creepy Monsters living the abandoned tower on the hill for some reason."

Esker Manyblades

At the request for one of the trackers to accompany her, Esker spares a glance at Iscind before agreeing to volunteer, "If you can put up with me, I'll join you."

[OOC] Since several have followed inside putting the interior her back in the main thread. [/OOC]

Grand Hall of Song and Dance: Exterior (Cross, Elsa, Gregor, Iscind, Pyros)
Esker follows the bard inside. Shortly afterwards Jerry and Merrick finish their inspection circling the building, then proceed inside as well. Doesn't seem to be much around the Hall here, once Jerry is done inside where do we want to check next?

Grand Hall of Song and Dance: Interior (Mira, Esker, Jerry, Merrick)
steps through the high doors into the vaulted hallway. The polished columns and adornments echo the murmur and quiet chatter of dozens of locals; replacing the typical ambiance of music. Some go about tasks like tying small boquets with ribbon or gathering up candles and other items for the memorial. A few small groups seem only to be friends in quiet discussion who are observing the preparations.

MIra takes the lead, heading towards a Lady in a blue dress, she approaches with her hands at her side, hoping her appearance will help, rather than her reputation.

"Are you Mrs Tsamin? I'm Mira, I was a good friend of Laisa's.. I know I am an outside but I was hoping I might be able to help in someway?" She asks politely and reverently.

The woman turns and takes her in, lingering slightly on the red hair. At first her face is stern but it softens slightly. I am, yes. And you must be La gitane rouge... There is much to do. In what way are you hoping to help?

"I guess I am. I prefer Mira but.." she shrugs. "But anyway, I want to help how I can. It would presumptuous to offer to sing when there are so many wonderful singers here already. I wonder if perhaps I might perform one song? One of her favourites? She was my friend, and I cared for her. This... This is awful. I wish I knew why she went out alone."
