Jordek chuckles at the jest and ties the end of the rope about himself securely. Yes his den had quite a... musk to it but I must confess it is nothing compared to burning troll hair and flesh... he shivers, despite himself. Welp, if you hear me hollerin' just haul me up like last time! the forest gnome grins, ear to ear through his beard. Clamboring down the side of the embankment he moves beneath the bridge and out of site.

Several minutes pass, and little can be heard aside from the occasional shuffling of rock. Soon the gnome reappears in view, dirt in his beard and a grin on his face. Making his way back to level ground he puts out his hand. A quartet of shiny stones glitter in the firelight: a tan and brown striped stone, a deep blue stone, a translucent white stone and even a small pearl!

"There must be something special about them. Don't we need a pearl for something?" Nocturno looks around.

"Is someone still suffering? Still wounded?" asks Linar. "Corellon would want me to help!"

Nocturno will cast Cure Moderate Wounds on himself.

CMW:[1d10+1]=10+1=11

His posture will get better, and wave off Linar.

"Thank you for the offer."

I am hurting but need to rest for a while before pressing on. We can sell those gems and split the gold. It will help me buy some armor in town.

"It would be me pleasure. But I understand, we can try and fix you tomorrow," declares Linar who then casts Regenerate Light Wounds on himself.

Jordek finds a suitable spot to rest, not too close to the staggering stench of burning troll. Maybe we can have someone in town look at those gemstones tomorrow. Or my deep-delving cousin could take a crack at them when he's rested. The forest gnome suggests. I've had enough adventure for one night, let's get ready for tomorrow. Bordertown's the only town i've been to in half a century, but it sure was interesting! Though... I guess I don't have a lot of comparison, lately... he muses

Linar will take whatever watches folks wish, only needing to enter a meditative trance for four hours.

I'll take the first watch but I am weak so will not be able to fight well so keep your weapons close at the alarm sound.

Findalsip heartily agrees to appraise the gems found in the troll's lair. "Cousin it indeed would be an honor and a privilege to fix a worth to the gems you bravely and heroically entered! First though I need to get some beauty rest. Thankfully, the beauty part won't take long. I can't say the same for our pincushion though. He's taken a beating worse than a dwarven fighter's head."

The Svirfneblin Cleric inspects the stones, expertly evaluating their total worth at just over 200 gp.

The others prepare to settle in for the night, Bullock taking first watch and Linar offering to adapt to whatever the rest of the group needs. As the decisions are made and those not on watch turn-in, the Drow casts a regenerative spell upon himself before taking his trance for the night. Throughout the evening, the sounds of various woodland creatures can be heard in a constant drone, but nothing seems interested in interrupting the party's rest

Day dawns above the bridge as the sun begins to peek over the trees. Bordretown lies but a few hours to the south.
It is now Plow, 3rd day in the month of Flourish or Melira (Elven name), the Year of the Sun 192 (3762 of the OE)

[Casters, pick your spells for the day]
