Throughout the night the party keeps close watch. Several more Worg patrols pass at irregular intervals, but a few hours closer to daybreak they stop altogether... as if something had changed. The day threatens to be uncomfortably warm, though the shade helps. Nearby the sound of the creek that gives the goblin tribe their namesake burbles and trickles in the air...

So what is our play for today? Do we make to town and spend our wealth or go after the rest of the goblin tribe? I could use some time in town to learn a few new spells and find out the magic in this new shield. But I will follow the group, I will need your help to find the "Betrayer".

Now that we have shares combat and spilled blood together, are their any of you that would care to trade some spells to further the cause of Good?

“I would like a chance to find out what this cloak is I picked up. Alas, I also wish to see these goblins ousted from this area. I am unsure which is the greater of problems for me: the town or the goblins. It feels strange with nothing solid over my head. Is there good strong rock in this town?”

[Jordek will be NPC'd for now]

If you mean Bordertown, the whole place looked like it had bedrock foundations. Probably why they built there, but the construction is cut stone and wood. The keep was impressive, they're the ones who want the Basilisk scales. he adds, shaking the sack of scales with a clatter.

"We fight." Katten states rising from the semi-trance she had spent the last few moments, licking her arm with her long tongue she washes her face and straps on her weapons. "I go to cave, we fight."

Jordek twirls his blades, ready to proceed. Chitt pokes his head out of the gnome's collar, whiskers twitcing apprehensively.

Marching order? Or are some wanting to go to town despite camping outside the cave last night

Bull

I am ready for whatever comes my way. Not sure I would be excepted in town. Would have to figure out some way to alter my appearance before going to town.

He gathers his gear and slips his new shield on his left arm and slides the giant two hander into it's leather sheath.

Katten takes point as usual, she waits impatiently for the others to join her distracted only by Dran, the somewhat larger wolf rubbing against her bare leg.

Findalsip falls in line with group and says "It is a good day for a goblin to die by Callarduran!" and gives a humble bow at the mention of his deity's name.

The cat-ranger picks her way carefully down the wet stony trail eside the burbling water; any confusion about the tribe's name is immediately dispelled.

The passage winds down damply into the earth until a tunnel forms within. the others follow behind only momentarily masked by the sound of the flowing water...

Nocturno will stay far enough back that his clanky-ness will not hurt the scouts efforts.

The Cat woman raises a hand to halt everyone, making her way forward with just Dran at her side she takes a note of the water, ideal for losing your tracks.

She moves halfway along and if it is clear signals to the others to join her.

(I take it right now there is light?)

If out of the light Linar can see a long way in the darkness.
