Act 2, Scene 2: "To Crush the Wetrocks" (Main Game Thread)

The 2E AD&D Homebrew Sandbox world of Genwald is large, ancient, and magical. There are many undiscovered/untamed places. The Sun Kingdom (European style, Late Medieval Human NG Monarchy) is the basic Campaign area, but PCs can end up anywhere.

The scars of ancient battles of titanic proportions mark the land. Wild magic zones, fantastical terrain, grand adventure, political strife, and even artifacts of wonder await. Choose your part and come make your mark on the world. A wide array of unconventional races and classes are available.

Linar interjects, "Can a troll regenerate from just it's blood? Like, if you forgot about it, could you one day be attacked by a knobbly green arm reaching out from your backpack?"

Continuing to slash and poke, Nocturno starts to sweat a bit [lol]

Nothing better to contribute...

Findalsip pulls out his gogondy and pours about half the bottle on the troll body. "Get that fire over and fast!"

Jordek shrugs at Linars questions. I dunno... never heard of that. Signa might know. Uhh... is anyone else collecting blood? one waterskin isn't much, i don't know how much we would actually get for that little bit...

Linar gives the troll a few good slashes to give Nocturno a breather.

Bull

Will dump his waterskins and try to collect blood too. Using the skin to suck it up.

Noc appreciates the slashes, but his Holy Rage won't let him stop just yet.

Findalsip kicks and stomps at the troll and is amazed at the what he perceives as 'vampiric' tendencies amongst his party. "Where's that fire? We need to burn this troll and now before we exhaust ourselves!"

Bullock empties his skins and collects some blood as well. Afterwards Jordek has started a good fire and the group begins the slow process of burning the body. The horrid stench of burning troll fills the air with a skunky, musky stench akin to rotting meat. Though parts of the troll seem to be trying to regenerate, the burned portions do not. The fire and dozens of wounds keep it from reviving again.

Boll

Stores his wineskins and retrieves his lost giant sword. Someone should check the Trolls lair. Might be gold and weapons from previous travellers down there.

"It's lair it here? I thought it was out for a stroll," says Linar whimsically. "OK, let's have a look then."

I assume it is under the bridge. Probably under some old crevasse eroded by the stream in days long past. Bound to be something from traveler's or merchants it has way-layed.

Recovering from his Rage.
"Last time, the hole was burned out, presumably by someone trying to drive them away. That is why we were lowering Jordek down."

Findalsip is rather happy that the troll is being burnt to the lowest plains of hell and remarks "That stench must be what the inner ass of a Mind Flayer must smell like, it is rather horrid". :puke: He helps man the rope for the making of a gnomish piñata once again.
