Your character will be tied up on the 2nd storey of the warehouse the players are currently in.

So let's rip some quick backstory off...

Your investigations lead you to believe the Orcs who burned your Family Smithy were in league with the Drow who are occupying this building.

When you entered you noticed the magical darkness on the main floor, but it was too late and the drow assassins appeared without you noticing.

You'll be coming around once the group makes it up stairs, and finds you tied up in the corner.

Do I have any Magical weapons, armor or Items since I am 5th Level??

And the Background states I have a Land Vehicle. Is that a Horse and Wagon or what does that mean?

Right, sorry about not answering that before.

Lunch break is over. I will get back to you. Probably about 10 or 11 CST. Ive got a busy evening of helping my Mom, then home to get the kids to bed lol. My poor wife.

You'll have a minor item. An example is Renwick has a trinket that makes him grow to medium from small when raging.(To use heavy weapons)
Also one higher end item. He also has the belt of dwarven kind.

If you can think of something that will fit your story/character let me know. Otherwise I will make up/search for some items.

Tool Proficiencies: One type of gaming set, vehicles (land) - From Soldier Background
I'm gonna say Vehicles, this basically would mean Wagons/Carriages, unless you can think of another that would fit with the setting.
And you don't get the wagon/carriage, just the proficiency to use it.

Again I apologize. I am usually very organized. But having some troubles with the VOIP system at work, makes everyone around me cranky, which means I have to think lol.

Thank you for your patience, and always bring something up if I seem to have glanced over it.

I will have to do some research. Not familiar with 5E magic items. Maybe Magic Armor or Weapon? Maybe forged by my father with some kind of Runes on the blade or Breast plate.

I can work with that.

You'll find many of the classic items have been brought into 5e.

What about the smiths hammer end up having some magical properties?

Yes, The smith hammers can have some kind of magical properties and How about a Ring of Fire Resistance for when I am doing Forge work. Immune to normal fires is cool.

Yes, add the ring. That makes sense.

We can brainstorm about the Hammer if you like. I'm trying to kick the creative juices into flowing, but mired in trouble tickets lol.

What about properties like the ioun stone. Can store spells or like Dwarven Thrower, or maybe adds Magical Bonus to any weapons created with it. That could be why the Drow killed my parents and took me hostage. Trying to find out how to forge weapons that will work in Daylight.

I like where you are going with that.

It can store spells. 3 levels worth. It will add magical properties to the item crafted based on the spells stored, consuming the spell as you forge the item.

I'll come up with an item block for you too.

(We can come up with the effects based on spells if/when it matters)

Any magical pluses to it? Light Hammer or Warhammer size? And can the spells be used for other things ( While in combat or to heal someone) or just forging weapons and armor?

Spells can also be used just like the Ioun Stone, but the forging is additional.

Let's give it a +1.

Forging Warhammer of Firebeard.
Attunement - Required
Unique - Rare - Weapon
+1 to Hit and Damage
Dmg 1d8,(B), Versatile (1d10)
The Hammer can store up to 3 levels worth of Spells at a time.
Any creature can Cast a Spell of 1st through 3rd Level into the Hammer by touching it as the spell is cast.
The spell has no Effect, other than to be stored in the stone. If the stone can’t hold the spell, the spell is expended without Effect.
The level of the slot used to cast the spell determines how much space it uses.
While holding the Hammer, you can cast any spell stored in it. The spell uses the slot level, spell save DC, spell Attack bonus, and Spellcasting Ability of the original caster,
but is otherwise treated as if you cast the spell. The spell cast from the Hammer is no longer stored in it, freeing up space.

When Forging with the Hammer, you are able to release a spell into the forged item. Causing the forged item to be imbued with an effect.
The spell released from the Hammer is no longer stored in it, freeing up space.

That looks like a kick ass hammer.

I changed a couple spells since I have the Ring of Fire Resistance.
