While walking aver to Merrick Jerry asks, "How're we doing? Anyone seriously hurting?"

When stood next to Merrick she looks at him, searching his eyes, "And you, how are you holding up?"

Merrick shakes his head, seemingly a little in shock. I am alright... Did... did we truly do it!? Can we leave this hellish place now? he seems to hardly believe his own words.

Elsa sighs and smirks a little at Pyros' attempt. Come now, stow that or you'll lose it chasing after something else and then where will we all be? she suggests.

Artanis strokes his beard for a second and nods. I'll fetch our mounts, and we can be out of here with all speed. Adrastia touches Mira's shoulder in a reassuring gesture and moves to follow the ranger in gathering the animals.

Jerry puts an arm around Merrick and gives him a gentle squeeze, "I hope so."

"Thank you. Yes let's get out of here. I want to find a nice warm bed and get some rest!" She sighs, staying by Tarlyn. "l
Get your stuff together. And yes hide that damn thing Pyros."

Pyros reluctantly hands the crown to Mira.

"A warm bed sounds good right about now. But I dare say we have at least one more lumpy night."

Jerry looks at Merrick and smiles.

Pyros hands the crown to Mira and soon the ithers return with the horses. The canyon outside seems just as deserted as before as dry red dust stirs in the fitfull wind...

Pyros will lead the group, keeping alert for any more of those crazy monsters.

Cross will pull a bit of ration or food out for Fenrir.

"Come have a snack." He holds it up for Fenrir to grab.

"Please watch for anything approaching us."

Taking the crown she hides it away in her pack and starts to walk with Tarlyn she stays in the middle. "I want to leave this place, I dont care if there is other places, I just want to go."

Karl allows the Girl to remain on Bayard for now, taking the lead after Pyros he keeps his weapon drawn and his wits about him.

Hearing no word to the contrary from anyone else, Artanis nods and leads the others towards the mouth of the box-canyon they are in. Again the imposing visage of the Ziggurat comes into view, littered with the broken bones of their previous undead adversaries.

Ravens circle somewhat menacingly above the dusty basin, but he party proceeds past the parched pyramidal construction and through the second narrow passage. Again the canyon poses the path to the south, and the great ominous oak looms before them some 100 ft away. Casting glances at the others, the gypsy siblings flank the Ranger and keep a weather eye for enemies. The manacled bones of the dead lining the canyon walls rattle in the dry breeze in a cacophony of macabre clattering; like the dissonant chords of cryptic chimes whispering their impending doom...

Doom, it would seem, fails to befall the party as they reach the mouth of the canyon and the dusty red clay begins to give way to low shrubs; and shortly to greener and taller growths. Merrick casts a final glance back at the sepulchral landscape behind and mutters aloud, Did we... really make it out? His disbelieving gaze is tinged by the hint of hope, as he searches the faces of his companions

"Well, we're still here," replies Jerry ambiguously. "Does anyone actualy know anything about this crown?"

"A few stories, folk tales mostly, remember most Folk Tales contain fact , but.." she throws her hands in the air, "We did make it, I'm pretty suprised that nothing really bad happened."

(Is Pyros's leg still bad?)

Merrick nods, Yes, we know little. Although Akriel seemed to believe her betrothed had some books in his library that might help uncover that mystery.

The party continue into the woods, the ranger and Equaar siblings leading the way, but before long night begins to fall and a suitable camp is found.
