[Oof, yeah those migraines can be brutal. No worries, get some rest. I hope it passes soon.]
Jerry considers exactly how the web spell might form, rarely did one need it to be so precise as to create such a close alignment with the lip of the pit. As she begins to casts her spell the skeleton in the center reaches up and begins to remove the crown and holds it over the void as if threatening to drop it! Her evocation ends just as the undead releases it!!! Time seems to slow as she throws a tiny patch of web against the stone wall inside.
The sticky structure springs into existence in an instant and exactly as intended; just high enough to be used as a ledge and in contact with the chains. In fact, the slack in the chains have buried them slightly in the web, along with a foot or so of the skeleton. Miraculously, the crown does little more than land on the webbing beside the undead.
After the bedrolls are cut in half long-ways and rolled up, the kender approaches the webbing. He rolls the first strip out carefully above the be-webbed chain for more stability. Shuffling along the somewhat bouncy surface he carries the second and rolls it out as well, careful not to touch the sticky substance. Artanis arrives from one of the portals, blinking in surprise at the recent developments. Crawling on hands and knees Pyros brings the third strip forward and rolls it out towards the skeleton, who glares menacingly at the Kender with glowing red eyes. The crown glitters nearby in the webbing.
[That worked out about as well as it could have Needless to say, it seems pretty obvious the skeleton will attack Pyros if he comes close enough to reach the crown]
