"Why the hell didnt I think of that? Good thinking Sir Knight." Mira shakes her head, appearing near the entrance her hand on Pyros's shoulder. "Should I go through first?" She asks the group.

As Mira and Pyros begin to examine the empty arch, small sparks and jumps of electricity occur periodically. Gradually they grow more numerous and frequent until the group notices the mist in the room beginning to gravitate towards it. Slowly, over the course of several minutes, the fog coalesces until they form a swirling portal of mist within the arch...

"Perhaps we should all go together," suggests Jerry. " Else it may send up to different destinations. Perhaps."

[at best you could try to wedge 2 people through at once. Or 2 halfling sized individuals and 1 other. If anyone wanta to attempt this, state who is going to attempt to go through together and give me a dex check for each PC in the pair]

Did the mist disappear from the floor? Or did it just gather some for the doorway?

"AHHHH! DONT DO THAT!!!" Pyros gathers himself visibly.

"Do any of your fancy magic types have one of them speeels that would allow us to communicate?"

"No, don't believe I do," answers Jerry.

"Pyros, you and I should go first, you can be sneaky, and I well. Can't be seen. And I reckon you'll hear him wherever he is!" She grabs Pyros's hand and leads him to the entrance... "Unless its linked to the blood of whoever opened it. Then. Well, Sir Karl is going first."

That is more encouragement than Pyros needed.

He will leap through the doorway.

Jerry squeezes Merrick to say without words, "One just can't not love Pyros."

Mira and Pyros move to go through the gate at the same time, but the Kender is just a tiny bit faster. With a flash the mist in the gateway scatters back into the room and the Kender is gone! Small arcs begin forming along the archway again and the mist gradually begins to gather, but it seems the process will take a few minutes to recharge...

Pyros passes through the gate alone...

"Damn that Kender! I'm going next. Then Karl.. no arguments" Mira curses, almost punching the wall.

After a few minutes, the mist has gathered back into the archway and the portal appears recharged.

Mira steps inside before anyone else can react, "I'll see you on the otherside."

The mist scatters and the recharging process begins again

"Stay close!" calls Jerry.

She whispers to Merrick, "See if we can both disappear together. I don't want to lose you! If separated, we wait for each other?"
