Well a Gold Piece a day for hunting Drow sounds like a good deal to me. Is this a written contract or is it a hand shake and a word. Either way you can count me in. So what is our focus of employment. Killing off the Drow or just eliminating the ones in town?

He sighs.
"Weapon horde, eh? Looks like we stopped something in time."

He rubs his head.

"The others have a writ from the employment offices, but if you are fine with this informal agreement, I am as well. As for the focus, we will wait to see what the Lords have in mind. But since there was a a direct attack on Lord Frugold, I believe they will want to respond in kind. Feast and rest friends. We will meet in the morning."

When Lorbin has moved on, GG says to Broggdar, "When you haven't any gold to your name, one gold per day plus food and board does sound attractive."

Flatbelly eats, then goes to the library to make small research before sleep and read more about the underworld. Specifically Drows tactics at infesting other humanoids cities if he can find references about that.

Although Flatbelly already saw the library, his heart feels with joy and awe looking at all these books, smelling their old leather wrapping and the dust that fills the shelves.

Flatbelly scans the shelves and pulls a book they seemed to over look before, possibly because it seems more fictional than factual. After blushing he puts the book down after the first 3 chapters.

But after he puts it down in a huff, GG follows through it and points out a whole chapter on a uncharacteristically brave sect of Drow who infest a warehouse from beneath. And for decades, slowly work their influence out. And in a time of unrest, they seize control of a whole city block and start a civil war with-in the city. All without revealing themselves.

He shares this quietly with Lorbin, giving Flatbelly full credcit for the research and adds, "One errnoneous thought, Sir, could a household member, a senior member, be a recreational customer for the new substance?" He comes as close as he may without actually impuning the head of the family as to whether such could be the reason for their Lord's capture..

After helping himself to as much food as he can stuff in his maw, Jordek heads to the workroom hoping to stumble across the same people who were so helpful to him last time. Hoping to talk with them and share ideas on how to incorporate a poison delivery system on his bow so he can start start sketching some designs and working out logistics.

Once GG finds the chapter he overlooked Flatbelly eyes lights up and he joins the reading and researching. "If you haven't double checked we would have missed it. In the deep we know to appreciate the value of cooperation." Flatbelly returns the compliments.

After eating and drinking Adrik will head to bed to rest from the long day.

After feeding his famished self, he heads to one of the mentioned rooms and starts to shed some of his armor and weaponry. Leaving his family Warhammer in his belt for now. He checks the rooms for security and secret doors to make sure he is not surprised in the night. He lays all his armor and weapons across a chair and places the Warhammer on the table next to the bed. Preparing to nightly devotions and sleep. Does not remove his Holy Symbol to sleep.
