He did not scream, a scream would show fear, he would face his fate like a man, offering a silent prayer he waits for the inevitable, hoping at least he saved the Kender.. Saving a Kender? Oh the madness of it all.

And then, nothing... His death had been delayed, at least for now. Trying to orientate his body to the bridge he reaches out an arm attempting grasp the bone.

Sir Karl twists and turns and tries to generate some momentum, but manages only to rotate himself and draws no closer to the bridge

[How would he like to attemp to reach the bridge? it is at least 10 feet away]

Sorry to interrupt. But Pyros would have a blast floating around in nothing-ness.

I feel bad now! I was just trying to play the character, I feel every action suits his Kit but damn that would have been fun. I do hope he is safe.

Can he use the bridge and the cliff to orientate himself with up and down? If he can he draws a single copper from his pouch and aims it upwards, knowing how far he can throw he will attempt to estimate how far he has fallen.

[lol, maybe pyros can come back later to play in the pit after his nap ;) Sorry for the k-inactivity  ]

Sir Karl gauges the wall and easily determines which way is up.
[is he throwing the copper at the wall or just straight up?]

One straight up, to try and determine depth (He's not that bright so he hasn't worked out yet he has no way to judge) and one at the bridge. He's also trying to figure out if this holds him and everything around him in place or if its just him. He's quite new to magic after all.

Sir Karl winds up and hurls a coin upward as far and straight as he can. It quickly disappears into the thick mist and out of his view, but it moves just as if he had thrown it under normal conditions. A few seconds later it falls past him and slows, hovering just out of arm's reach below him

His next throw sends the second coin easily into the webbed bridge, where it sticks. As he watches it land, he realizes that there is still a rope stuck in the web, and it is moving! A moment later, the head of the brunette gypsy-woman becomes visible as she climbs into view!

Edit to add:
No sound is heard from above (when Adran calls out)

So, the air didn't hold them above, yet below he felt like he was crawling through a sludgy river, and then his eyes light up as the Gypsy appears!

He had to attract her attention, if she knew he was down here.. Stifling his pride he draws another coin and aims it in her direction, he didn't need to hit her, and he hoped he wouldn't.

Karl hurls a third coin near Adrestia. Though she is climbing for her life, she cannot help but notice the copper as it smacks into the webbing beside her! Bracing her knees in the sticky magical webs, she holds the rope with one hand and reaches for her absent rapier with the other. The dark hair swivels around and she spots the floating knight. Her eyes squint and she seems at first not sure whether or not to believe the apparition of the flying human. Who's there? she calls out to him, her voice far sounding and muffled by the "wind" of his "falling"

"Karl!" He calls, (assumption here) yet his voice doesn't travel, instead he raises the shield from his back and proceeds to show it to the Gypsy woman hoping she would recognise it.

The woman adopts a skeptical look, but turns her attention below her on the rope and is apparently speaking. After a moment, the haft of a long weapon is raised somewhat unsteadily into view. Taking the ranseur just below the head, she raises the haft end high above her. Slowly she lowers it towards the hovering knight, with as much control as she can manage with one arm. The shaft begins to dip towards him, almost within reach...

Dex check to catch the weapon haft please

Karl reaches out, unable to do anything else he grasps as tightly as possible.

Simple [1d20] = 14 Pass.
