Flatbelly will awaken the second guard and then if possible will hack the two fallen trolls heads.

Tornak will hop off the table and head east singing an off key ditty about the relationship woes between a blind old forester and a lonely troll hag and release another shot from the "lute" toward the troll Lorbin is engaged with

Tornak(24) moves East to line up with the remaining Troll. He serenades the group with an off key tune, and lets another bolt fly. (20 dmg)

Adrik(23) grabs the SeaElf by the collar, hauls her back to his original position, and tightly binds her wounds. While they still look nasty, she is clearly stabilized, and resting.

Yongoth(22) Again stays under the table with the rogue and bard.

Fimlyn(14) from the walkway she casts a spell on the Troll.(23dmg) Those around the Troll again her a familiar bell sounding.

Rayman(14) pulls in the second guard. With a firm smack across the face he is woken. The Trolls have now sunk out of reach.

Renwick(14) leaping in his rage lands beside Lorbin, and attacks the Troll.(14, 7)

Foggy(13) Holds steady under the table.

SeaElf(11) sighs a deep breath, eyes remain closed, but she stirs.

Troll3(10) swinging wildly at Lorbin the Troll almost clips the Dwarf with a claw, but then his other attacks catch only air.

GG(8) rushes to the aid of Lorbin and whirls his Rapier around, and slams it into the chest of the Troll. Green Flame sizzling as the rapier punches a solid hole into the Troll.(7,6)

Lunmumi(7) casts a spell at the newly arrived Troll3. Another peel of that familiar Bell tolling, whips the Trolls head around.(5)

Lorbin(7) sets to turning the Troll into a tenderized piece of meat. (10, 5) Somewhere between the first and second swing the Troll starts to fall, but Lorbin continues for good measure.

With the threat down, Fimlyn moves and casts a spell on SeaElf, which brings her around. Lorbin heads to the 2 unconscious guards and pulls them onto the walk way. Fimlyn goes to check on the guard who stood up to the Troll, but she shakes her head, and says a prayer over his body.

GG says, "Lorbin, is the families' business going to be done here and now? Or do we evacuate?" After a pause he adds, "I'm going to check the next room is clear." He does so.

Lorbin looks at the corpse by him and then over the edge. "These have killed with fire, no need to worry about them regenerating."

Yongoth gets out from under the table. "Brother, I think we should get moving." He watches GG head to the next room.

"We will go out the front. It should be the only way out. Foggy, go with him and scout it out. Can anyone spare a healing prayer for this lad?" Yongoth points to Lunmumi, as he pulls the spikes out.

"Alright." Foggy races off to catch up to GG.

Flatbelly goes to Lumini and heals him. "Auril, with your kindness and warmth these wounds will close and the man strength restored."

Anyone searching the Troll and Manticore corpses that didn't sink give me an investigation roll.

Lorbin speaks up. "We will fall back to the Onyxarm house. All of the Homeforger Guards are outside finishing off the Sahuagin, who failed to break in from beneath."

Renwick wit one last surge of pure strength shoves the Troll corpse enough to see the top half of the Manticore.

The Guards all start to come to, and look around in bewilderment.

GG and Foggy find the grand Altar Room with its ceiling utterly destroyed and collapsed.

They see all the guards who were at the doors unconscious most with one or more limbs under stone and tile.

The sky is clear, most of the dust has settled, and there is a sour acrid smell in the air. (Think black powder when it burns)

Tornak lets the spell disguising him as Lunmumi fall and approaches Fimlyn. Do you have a way to contact your temple guards from here and determine if it safe for us to leave or do we need to put eyes on the grounds in front of the temple ourselves? Regardless of the answer he receives he will use an action to cause Bernard to appear.

If her answer is that the party should put eyes on the situation Tornak will ask for a moment of patience from the dwarf brothers while he sends Bernard out to check out what is happening just outside the entrance to the temple. He will see and hear through Bernard and will be deaf and blind to what is happening in the room while that occurs. He will explain what he is doing and request that if he is needed, they should tap him on the shoulder.

If Fimlyn has the ability to assess the safety of the situation just outside the temple, Tornak will take up a guard position near the door to the room they are currently in.

After healing Lumini Flatbelly tells Lorbin, "I'm puzzled by three things: How did they know the exact time and place of the meeting if everything was kept so secret? Does it suggests of a spy in our ranks? But most puzzeling thing is why would Trolls, Manticores and Sahuagin would care about meeting discussing how to handle the refugees??? It is bewildering unless we come to the conclusion that someone have sent them, but then, who will gain from interfering with such a meeting and who could control these monsters?" After a moment of thought he adds, "Maybe it wouldn't be about the meeting context but the meeting participants. Removing two strong houses from the game will allow another house to gain power?"

(OOC: So healing Lumini was for 10 points not 8. BTW why heal anyway, if I understand correctly all wounds in 5th ed cure automatically after rest, no? or is it a full night rest?)

Yongoth looks to all the questions. Talk once we are back at the Onyxarm House. The Homeforger guards along with the Temple Guards have secured our escape. The only way out is the front door. All other possible exits have been magically sealed when the first wave hit. That is Plan Y in action. Plan Z which was almost necessary was to blow the wall I was standing beside to extract our wards. But behest to the Lady Fimlyn, we did not cause more damage to the sacred Temple."

"You Half-ling Lad, over here help me search the bodies." Lorbin points at Adrik. When Renwick tosses the Troll off the Manticore "You are than meets the eye it seems."

Renwick will assist Lorbin turning the bodies when needed or lifting limbs.


"My thanks." Lunmumi will say to Rayman for the healing magic.

You hear Foggy from the other room.
"Ceiling is gone, lots of hurt Guards in here."

With that, Fimlyn and the recovered Guards will rush to the Altar Room.

Flatbelly will help to awaken the unconsciousness guards. If any is in desperate need of healing he will provide it.
