Cladmont Goings - Tornak and Adrik

With a 1/2 hour wait ahead of him, Tornak drains his ale and decides to have some fun. This new kind of dart game seems like a social game so he decides to take it to the next logical step. Standing on a table he announces "5 gold piece pot, 1 gold piece buy in. You beat me in this game of darts and the pot is yours! Any takers?!"

"I will take that challenge." "Only condition is I join you in your quest for danderous work.

"My name is Adrik." "Who goes first" as Adrik flips a gold coin to the table.

Watching the coin hit the table Tornak bursts out "Ah! A challenger! Excellent." He hops off the table and extends a clawed scrawny hand to Adrik to shake. "Greetings shorty, I am Lasher Tornak, goblin notable! Since you are the challenger... um uh, I go first! yep that is the rule. First to 20 wins and if we tie then we uh.. play again!" With a cocked head he asks "You know the rules? The points and the colors and the throwing?" Without waiting for an answer he pushes 3 darts into Adrik's hand and continues "Excellent! Here are 3 darts and you throw them at the board over there, the colored circles, yeah I know it's weird but it saves on targets I guess. Here I go!"
He grabs 5 gold coins from his pouch and slaps them alongside Adrik's gold piece and then throws his 3 darts at the target.

"Adrik shakes his hand and take the darts. He moves to the dart board and throws them.

Tornak grabs his next 3 darts and tosses them

Adrik, grabs the next three darts to tosses them.

Seeing Adrik only lose by 4 points, one of the crew walks over and throws a gold down also.

"Challenge still open?"

"Of course!" As the gold hits the table Tornak swiftly accepts the challenge and hands the newcomer 3 darts. "Since you are the challenger, you get to go first." As the new fellow takes his shots, Tornak turns to Adrik "Thank you for the drink Adrik. I'm to meet my contact in roughly a half hour. It shall be good to have your company." When the challenger has taken his first 3 tosses, Tornak will throw his.

The crew member looks at Tornak with a grin.
"When you play this on a tipping ship, you get pretty good."
He will turn around and quickly toss the darts.

Feeling good about his lead he tosses the next 3.

Tornak's interest in the game seems to be waning, he really wants to suss out this halfling who invited himself along to his meetup.

"Oy, don't take it to hard Gobo. Let me buy a round, and a meal for ya." He looks at the scrawny goblin. "Yer Ma must not feed you properly."

"Adrik! Is this to be your new cohort? Maybe I should accompany you. I could use more coin like that."

He will motion to the barkeep.
"A ROUND FOR ALL, and a full meal for our new greenskinned friend!"

[Squirrellord]

"Thank you for your generosity!" When the meal and drink arrives, Tornak tucks in with gusto. "So you know each other then? If you want to accompany us to the meeting I suppose that might be acceptable. I'd have to check with my contact who arranged it." Still shoveling food into his mouth trap, Tornak addresses Adrik "Speaking of the meeting, It would be good to know what skills you possess in case things head sideways." Softly caressing the small odd looking weapon at his side he continues "I myself am fairly good with Wee Bertha here and have a smattering of arcane skills, nothing major, but useful in right scenario."

"I specialize in melee combat. I'm good with bows and small weapons. I sure hope things don't go sideways, I need the work." "I must bring home game and treasure."

"Adrick has never seen me in a fight, but at times I can lose my cool.

He will extend his hand to shake.

"Name is Renwick 'Golden-Eye' Morren, I suppose if you'll have me I will join your quest to get some coin and adventure."
