The grpup finishes crossing and continues on the road. Late that afternoon as the sun falls below the trees they reach the crossroads with a cleared area to one side where the group had made camp but a few days past, on their way to bordertown.

chris, the orc canp was before the bridge, but we can say they stopped to look. little was to be found aside from the bodies of the orcs, normal camp leavings such as a fire pit, dirty beddings, and the like.

Linar suggests the group scout the campsight and if all clear, make camp. Watches to be set, and Linar volunteers to take the darkest part of the night.
He will pray for CLW in the morning.

After searching in the early twilight, the group deems the camp secure. Everyone settles in and names off shifts, Linar taking the stretch in the very middle of the night. Morning comes without incident, and the Drow calls upon his patron for a healing spell.

Linar mutters a short arcane phrase* to clean himself.
He then attends to his beefy companion, attempting to close up some of the latter's wounds [CLW] and follows that with a few arcane words to heat up some water for breakfast** and enhance the tasteless trail rations***.

Turning to the more mundane, barring interruption or expressed opinion to the contrary, Linar checks the camp perimeter, gets on with breakfast and then moves to break camp and head out, contiuing of their journey. He proposes the same marching order as before and tries to confirm the group's required direction, "Not to be slow, which way shall we go?"****

[yes, everyone gains 1 hp from the night's rest. Linar heals Garroth for 5 hps]

Linar prepares himself with some minor magics and lays a healing spell upon the Minotaur. Van rises early and seems eager to be off, as does Boyd.
[if Garroth agrees to the same previous marching order they can be off when they're ready]

The group continues onward as before, eventually coming to the downed tree they encountered a few days earlier.

Navigating around the obstruction, the group makes their way north. As they approach the area near the bridge, the day is getting late and they are set to meet the others in the morning.

The meeting point is just south of the bridge across the great pit. they can camp anywhere near or around

"Anyone know of a good site to make camp?" asks Linar.

Perimeter sweep when we find a suitable place.

He suggests, "You guys do two hours on watch each? And then I'll cover rest of the night?"

After setting camp, eating and so forth, Linar settles himself on a tree branch, roped with a safety line, and settles into Reverie.
