Casting around for interest in a Forgotten Realms game..

When you get 5 mins next weekend please would you set me up a directory called "Around the Realms" ?

I should get back Monday and can start to populate it then. In case anyone wants to think about it, all core races and classes allowed but preferably no evils. Level 1 start. Starting location in or around Waterdeep, so a few sentences of background around that would be useful.

Ok, so Tristen has asked me to consider this.

I will do just that, but can I have a Realms date? All my Realms chrs are linked in some way, and that isnt going to change.
If I can think of a suitable chr concept, one I have yet to do, I might consider it.

Honestly all my GMing was done in the time when Kelban Arunsen was the Blackstaff and the Seven sisters were all alive (ok one was a ghost having been killed by a blue Dragon, I think) and Durnhan ran the Yawning Portal.
I'm away from my books so this is all from memory, but I think 1372 DR, but happy to be corrected.
I'll lean on a bit of authors/GM' s license for deviations, but I'm not going to kill anyone (including myself) for strict adherence to Canon..

Just for visibility to other potential players, I'm thinking of making a Tiefling Sorcerer or Warlock.
He is also going to be a little insane, i think... or at least very odd

As I'm pretty much running 2nd Ed FR background (which is what I know fairly well, having the 100 or so paperbacks and most of the boxed sets etc) but using the 5th Ed rules as requested, there's likely to be a higher level of prejudice against tieflings. Nothing overtly threatening, just more likely to be served last, overcharged or the target for the first arrow.
