The rest of the way is a quaint ride through deep Nyrian countryside: tall rolling emerald hills, valley's, and some pockets of forest.

As you and Drusilla drew near the portal, you both immediately spot three panthers squaring off against four wild dogs over the rights to a sizable wild pig that's been freshly slain. Closer inspection reveals tentacles protruding out of the panthers back and moving about, quite animated. One of the panthers leaped and pounces on a dog, only for the dog to vanish and reappear somewhere else a minute later.

What do you do?

Idrys and pull out his bow, leans over to Drusilla and whispers, "Cats," indicating his bow.

Unless she stops him, he tries to put two arrows into a displacer beast with one or less attackers, and then the pair gallop off to meet Karlane, leaving nature to take its course.
