I believe thats what we agreed, and yes hold onto her share, Mira isnt letting that one slide.

Heading upstairs Mira divulges herself of her weapons, and most of her clothing before pulling on the oh too large shirt.. the last thing she had to remind herself of Yasir. Fighting the tears she rubs her bare tummy for a moment, a strange thought in her mind.

"Crazy thoughts girl, get your mind on the task." Sitting cross legged in the small chair she takes up her lute and begins to play a soft tune...

"And I.. want to thank you, for giving me the best day of my life..." she sings gently, the tears landing on the lute ignored as she plays on.
" Kid never learned to clear a room. Doors and corners, I told him. Doors and corners."

Jerry indicates with gentle pressure on Merrick's arm towards the group that she's fine to join in now.
Seeing the 'new girl' move to talk with the ranger, at a suitable point Jerry asks Mira what she makes of their most recent acquaintance and then adds she has a small something to share later in private.

If any money is given to her, the priestess mouthes a 'thank you' and discreetly puts it out of sight.

Seeing that Mira's disappeared, Jerry smiles all round to heck no one's after her and enquires which room Mira is staying in. With a suitably warm smile, a special look reserved just for him, she tells Merrick, "Just going to freshen up after all. Maybe a bit of a girls' chat too.."

Unless anything crops up, she leaves to try and find Mira.

Pyros will just continue to munch and people watch.

Cross will get excited quickly at the mention of a scroll. "The familiar scroll! Amazing! That sounds a bit steep, but I am sure we can come to some sort of arrangement."

===================

Forgot about Cross! Maybe now that we are back in the group I will remember him more lol!

As the last of the suns rays begins to fade Mira returns to the Common Room, dressed in a plain white shirt, tied to the front with one fastening, to reveal shiny green beneath, tied in with the black skirt she loved so much. Lute in hand she grabs a stool and takes her place on the stage.

"Greetings." Bowing with grace she takes a seat and begins to play, yet the melancoly that fills her soul seeps into the music, her voice breaking as the notes flow. (Singing / playing [1d20] = 19 Fail.)

Hello darkness, my old friend
I've come to talk with you again
Because a vision softly creeping
Left its seeds while I was sleeping
And the vision that was planted in my brain
Still remains
Within the sound of silence

In restless dreams I walked alone
Narrow streets of cobblestone
'Neath the halo of a street lamp
I turned my collar to the cold and damp
When my eyes were stabbed by the flash of a wizards light
That split the night
And touched the sound of silence

And in the naked light I saw
Ten thousand people, maybe more
People talking without speaking
People hearing without listening
People writing songs that voices never share
And no one dared
Disturb the sound of silence

Fools, said I, you do not know
Silence like a sickness grows
Hear my words that I might teach you
Take my arms that I might reach you
But my words, like silent raindrops fell
And echoed in the wells of silence

And the people bowed and prayed
To the false god they made
And the gods flashed out a warning
In the words that it was forming
And the gods said, the words of the prophets are written in the stars above
And all around.
And whispered in the sounds of silence

Sounds of Silence

As the song ends, she sees the faces of the crowd, cursing softly she adjusts her postion, and regards them with interest.
"Sorry, I'm a little nervous, Erris has been kind to me, and I want to do her proud. Lets try this..."

Relying on her playing she strums a soft ditty, one she had written just today, something new... (Singing / playing [1d20] = 14 Pass)

Sing me a song of a lass that is gone
Say, could that lass be I?
Merry of soul she sailed on a day
Over the sea and sky

Haven was astern, Ergoth to the port
Solamnia on the starboard bow
Glory of youth glowed in her soul
Where is that glory now?

Sing me a song of a lass that is gone
Say, could that lass be I?
Merry of soul she sailed on a day
Over the sea and sky

Give me again all that was there
Give me the sun that shone
Give me the eyes, give me the soul
Give me the lass that's gone

Sing me a song of a lass that is gone
Say, could that lass be I?
Merry of soul she sailed on a day
Over the sea and sky

Billow and breeze, islands and seas
Mountains of rain and sun
All that was good, all that was fair
All that was me is gone

Sing me a song of a lass that is gone
Say, could that lass be I?
Merry of soul she sailed on a day
Over the sea and sky

Skye Boat Song

Elated, she doesnt stop, the next song changing the beat as she bangs a beat on the back of the instrument, hoping that perhaps the crowd might continue, her eyes fall to Elsa and Jerry as she raises her hands above her head and begins to clap a beat.. Once enough people have joined in the instrument falls to one side as she removes the single tie, the shirt falling to the floor, revealing the shiny green bodice that left almost nothing to the imagination.

As the clapping (hopefully) continues she pats a beat on the back of the lute as it once again appears in her hands, the song flowing and rising above the roof, relaxing now she begins to play. (Singing / playing [1d20] = 4 Good Pass)

Baby blue staring in the window pane
Just counting drops of rain
Wondering if she's got the guts to take it
Running down her dreams in a dirty dress,
Now her heart's a mess
Praying she'll find a way to make it

So keep on climbing, though the ground might shake
Just keep on reaching though the limb might break
We've come this far, don't you be scared now
'Cause you can learn to fly on the way down

Searching for a sign in the night even like a lonely string of lights
That'll burn just long enough for you to see it
The road's been long and lonely and you feel like giving up
There’s more to this than just the breath you're breathing

So keep on climbing, though the ground might shake
Just keep on reaching though the limb might break
We’ve come this far, don't you be scared now
'Cause you can learn to fly on the way down

On the way down

You won't forget the heavy steps it took to let it go
Close your eyes, count to ten, hold your breath and fly

Keep on climbing, though the ground might shake
Just keep on reaching though the limb might break
We've come this far, don’t you be scared now
'Cause you can learn to fly on the way down

Ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh
Fly
Fly

On the Way down

Jerry claps after each of the songs and then joins in the overhead clapping.
She keeps an eye on Pyros.

Both Pyros and Cross will enjoy the music while played. Pyros some what subdued, maybe the atmosphere was getting to him, or he was just tired from the expoloring.

Cross on the other hand will order 2 full meals and will devour them with zest.

Erris smiles sadly as the bard returns to the common area, catching the mood on her. Adrastia and Artanis have a booth to themselves, a couple of ales and some bits of conversation; seemingly swapping stories and knowledge about the wild and different types of creatures they have encountered. Mira only catches bits as she moves to the stage. Merrick finds a booth for himself and Jerry, with room for Cross and one other if they wish to join them.

The common area only has a few patrons, perhaps 4 or 5, which makes it seem like much more of a crowd with the group more than doubling the total number of occupants. Emotion gets the better of the bard at first, her voice and finger wavering and fumbling as she performs her initial number. Some of the locals look uncomfortably at each other and shift in their seats, glancing both at Erris and the door. At the end, the party members applaud generously, eliciting the occasional clap from the locals.

Her quiet apology and the more upbeat tone of the following song settles their unease a bit, and by the end of the tune a few more patrons have drifted in. Erris herself appears more relaxed as well, nodding knowingly to Mira.

Between songs, Merrick continues to speak quietly to Cross. Yes, steep.. he's not the friendliest kind, either. Frankly... well, he will try to take advantage of you. He's not a big fan of Sithicans, and you have the look. He really only deals with my cousin because it's his only outlet in Harmonia. Rautant won't have dealings with him whatsoever. You may have more luck sending someone else...

Elsa takes a seat at the bar with Pyros, and orders some food for the two of them; dumplings with beets and parsnips in a molasses glaze. As the next song begins, she begins to tap along with the performer, slapping her hand on the bartop. Adrastia and Erris have nearly identical expressions as Mira strips off the outer garment, leaving her in the shimmering green corset. Both women quirk one eyebrow; but where the innkeep's mouth twitches only slightly, Adrastia's splits into a wide grin. She nudges the ranger, who glances to the stage and blushes before averting his eyes. The warrior barks a quick laugh and begins pounding her fist on the table with the tune. Part-way through the song, their server Allison from the Old Kartakann Inn appears. She blinks at the bard's state of dress and laughs aloud, clapping along as she moves towards the bar. She whispers briefly to Erris in Harmonian
[det noise and harmonian lang rolls from Pyros if he wants to try to overhear/understand]

Gradually more and more people filter in, the sound of music and merry-making washing out into the street as the light outside dims. The tune is met with more enthusiastic applause, the common room is much more lively than at the beginning of the set; the initial slip seemingly forgotten now. At the end of the song, Erris motions to let Mira know her meal is ready.

"Ok, I'm going to take a small break. And I'll be back soon.. hope you are enjoying the show so far." Boeing she grasps the bodice tightly before pulling the oversized shirt back on her body. Placing the lute against the stool she makes her way to bar.

"I'm sorry, I broke the first rule, leave your problems at the door." She sighs and gives Erris a small smile, "The outfit wasnt too much was it?" She asks before seeing Allison, her face lighting up. "You came! Erris, could this young lady have whatever she is drinking on me and my friends? I have to remember, do the upbeat songs, people like to tap along."
