Dice Rolss

How do you figure out if your players are being honest with their rolls? Do you just have to trust your players? This is my first PBP experience.

Welcome, Everyone has a different approach.

We used to use "Invisible castle" as the go to page (online dice roller), that went down a year or so ago, so some of us use "Unseen Servant", I know Jaded has issues with the hosts for that site and I think he does something else.

It's good to know there are ways to do it other than just trust. I would also like to ask, do most people on the site use point buy, or do they trust their players enough to let them roll stats?

Like dice rolls its a matter of choice, each DM has his/her own way of doing things.

A few of us are trying something different which is to develop characters beyond the dice, yes they are a nice framework, but who are they as people? Thats fun.

Would that mean using point buy?Or do you mean something else entirely? If you do, could you please explain what you mean?

Oh thats me going off on a Tangent.. Normal PCs but with the scores chosen, rather than rolled. So a sort of point buy.

But like I said we are all different.
