ok you would know this story not sasha per say but you would know of it

Sashas story begins with who her father is, Teriail a powerful and evil necromancer. Teriail desperately wished to transcend his human body. In his mind it was weak and aging. Sitting atop his massive dark spire he would send his dark minions to kidnap peoples of different races to experiment on. His plan was to transfer his grate intellect into the body of an offspring he created. The myriad of mothers from different races were subject to his ministrations to create these… “legacy” children as he called them. one such child was Rivi the bartender of the hogs ride. Rivi became a great adventure after his mother escaped and gave birth to him. but that’s another story. Rivi eventually returned to his vile fathers domain and destroyed his father. With the evil lord gone they freed all the slaves. One of the “legacy” children was sasha a half drow baby abandoned by her mother. most of the legacy children were without family as once the baby was born Teriail had little use for the mothers. All the children that were now orphans were rounded up and left with a dear friend of the adventure party that accompanied rivi . a kind paladin/priest dwarf named john. Johns church raised the legacy’s until they were of age. They were free to leave and fulfill their own agendas. Sasha became a great lover of the natural world and desired to protect it in any way she could. she traveled through the wilderness and eventually joined an militia during a small war. a horde of goblins head by a tribe of orcs was ravishing the northern ranges of the Eventara kingdom. she enlisted and trained to be a scout. Here is where she lured her skills as a ranger. Now with the war done she heads out to find the adventurers that saved the legacy’s to finally contact the ones who saved her and meet for the first time her half-brother.

you have no knowledge of dangers in this forest as while forbidden you have been in it many time with no issue. the area is normally void of baddies due to being so close to the powerful town
