"ppffft..fine" and the gold door slowly opens

"Thanks," and Erik nips through the opening before the damned door changes its mind.
He looks round to see what (and who) he can see.

OCC:sorry iv been missing i kinda swung an impromptu vacation out of no where and haven't had the chance to post but im back so should be able to post again!

once inside what should have been a huge hall looked more like a closet. once in side the doors closed and some soft music started playing. Erik felt something exceedingly odd a felling of vertigo as if the whole room was rising. this continued for a while then there was a soft bell ring and the doors he had just came in reopened only now they were leading into a lavish office

the room is filled with what could only be called a cacophony of oddities one wall is covered in book shelves like any other librairy but the books are put away haphazardly. two cages on the floor sat close together. one with a red book the other a blue book. the leather backed tomes were clearly trying to kill each other growling and snapping at one another at the edges of their bars. on the other wall a complex series of tubes and beaker bubbled away with different colored liquids and a giant stuffed bird with a sharp beak stood about 7 feet tall. its bright colored feathers were constantly changing shape from long frilly to short and sharp. At the end of the office sat a desk with a big chair behind it. in the chair was an elf slender and willowy. Clearly not made of muscle but when you look at him you can tell he's fast and nimble. He has spiky shoulder-length white hair and violet orbs for his eyes. His face is all angles and cut lines which make him seem harsh.

Erik has a good look at the weird exhibits to see if any are paying any attention to him.
If not, he approaches the desk & its occupant.

non of the odditys around him could cair less about him as he walks across the room the elf looks up from a book he was reading "welcome if you have gotten in here that means the doors at least felt i should meet with you. my name is headmaster cross im the founder of this school" he put the book down "what can i do for you?"

He says simply, "Thank you. Will I study here?"

a smile crosses his face "this is is a place that welcomes all who are willing to learn" he snaps a finger and a young looking woman all in black garb appears out of thin air standing next to erik. she is warped in cloths that look stealthy and has knives all over in belts and long katana on her back "love i think we have a new student can you take him down to the offices and look at setting him up" the young woman looks at the head master "you have got to get over your flair for theatrics." she sticks out a hand to erick "my name is edge i am the head master wife and body gourd as well as his assistant"

"I am Erik," their newest student replied. "Thanks."
He follows the woman.

they enter the odd closet he had been in before. it travels back to the ground level. the doors open she leads him threw a few hall ways to a set of offices. she opens a cabinet and hands him a bundle "this is your uniform and basic rule stuff. like don't start fight don't cause trouble that kinda stuff. a list of courses you can enroll in and lastly right now you have a wight belt it denotes you are new and will limit what kinds of materials you have access to...do not try and go threw doors with any color other than wight... every one tries...once. you will regret it if you do, so don't say we didn't worn you" she then pulls out a key "this key will give you access to your room and if you hold it by the chain it will rock towards your room and the rout you should take to get to it." she sits down across the desk "theirs a lot to see and learn here and it can be overwhelming. we normally suggest to take it easy for a few days and just meet some of the students but you can start classes right now if you'd like. lastly as a student you are obligated to do work here to help the school. you may be asked to go and do errands you will get a monthly stipend as well. you are required to share any magical discoveries you find as well. we will not take claim to them we only wish to share the knowledge with the school."
