Knowing his rope is 50' he eyes the roof and the distance down. He winds just over half the rope around the chimney. He walks over to the edge hangs off and with his mitten clad hands rappels to the ground. He will then grab his hoopak and go pound on the closest door.

"LETMEIN!!!"

cross will continue to have the illusion walk around the bush and threaten the standing wolf but if it seems like its going to attack cross will have the illusion stay away about 10 feet

Feeling a bit sluggish from perhaps staying up past his bed time, the lethargic ranger, notches another arrow, taking longer to aim than he would prefer, at the wolf beside the wolfman that is currently not entangled. He carefully draws back on the bow string, holds his breath and then lets the arrow fly. It appears to fly true to the target. Feeling as if he is trying to move while under water, he begins to repeat the process.

Game Mechanics:
Attack with bow: [1d20+1] = 16+1 = 17, Damage [1d6] = 3

Cross directs the illusion of Ontash which approaches the trees to the north; the wolf there watching it closely. The wolf-man creature barks at the freed wolf, which promptly flees Eastward around the barn and out of sight. The massive lupine then sprints towards the house! With a ferocious growl it leaps high into the air, gripping the corner of the house in sharp claws and proceeds to climb to the roof!

No sooner does the creature reach the top than Pyros slides down his rope on the opposite side to the ground! He quickly finds his hoopak and tries desperately to run for the door, the sluggishness of his own muscles fighting him at every step. Battering exhaustedly on the door he calls out to Elsa. Pyros! Is that you?! What the hell are you doing on the ground! He hears the latches begin to unlock.

Mira quickly mutters her magical mnemonic, and twin bolts of force streak towards the looming creature, striking it square in the chest! The monster staggers, but maintains his balance enough not to fall. Meanwhile the crouching wolf by the trees leaps out to attack the illusion of Ontash! It snaps and bites at him, and the illusion reacts realistically; but the wolf is suddenly no longer convinced.

Artanis had been readying himself to fire on the fleeing wolf, but by the time his bow is aimed it has fled out of sight around the barn. Turning, he spots the massive creature, but guesses his mundane arrows will be useless against it. Instead he fires at the newly exposed wolf to the north. Forced to aim slowly and carefully by lethargic muscles, he fires with a smooth release. The arrow sails by the massive wolf and strikes the wolf far away in the shoulder, producing a pained cry. The creature growls menacingly at the ranger, flexing it's powerful, clawed hands.

Down below, Jerry loads up one of her sling bullets and winds up for a shot at the exposed wolf. The bullet barely clears the edge of the window frame, landing far from its intended target.

Cross directs the Ontash illusion as far as he can towards the trees, behaving aggressively.

W3 flees eastward as commanded.

The Wolf-man commands W4 to flee, then charges the house!
The Wolf-man ignores the Ontash illusion and tries to climb the corner of thw house [DM roll]: Pass! The Wolf-man climbs onto the roof!

Pyros uses his rope to rappell to the ground! Geabbing his hoopak he runs to the door and begins hammering at it, calling for Elsa to let him in!

Mira casts Magic Missile at the wolf-man!
Magic Missile [1d4+1] = 3+1 = 4, [1d4+1] = 3+1 = 4 => 8 damage!
Wolf-man Magical Resistance! [1d100] = 34. Failed!
The wolf-man does not resist!
The Wolf-man is Barely Scratched!
Wolf-man (edge of the roof) dex check [1d20] = 6, pass!

W1 leaves cover to attack the Ontash illusion! It suddenly realizes the the figure is fake!

Artanis' target has fled so he fires his SHORTbow (I keep writing longbow on accident) at W1
Thac0 18 vs AC 7 (-1 lighting, -4 Lethargic): need 16 or higher
[1d20+1] = 16+1(high ground)= 17, hit!
Damage [1d6] = 3
W1 is Hurt

Jerry fires her sling bullet at W1
Thac0 20 vs AC 7 (-1 outside light): Need 14 or higher
Jerry vs W1 init, sling attk, dmg [1d10] = 7,[1d20] = 3,[1d4] = 1

Pyros yells "He's ONTHEROOF!" If he is let in he will get to the roof asap.

Mira grabs the crossbow that hangs from her belt and let's loose the loaded silver bolt.

Simple [1d20] = 3
Total miss..

Artanis will slowly and methodically, flip the bow onto his shoulder and draw both swords for his actions.

Cross continues to manipulate the illusion, but the now-injured wolf is no longer interested. It backs away into the trees, concealing itself completely. Jerry tries to find a target, but there is none to be had. Pyros continues to pound on the door, and Elsa finally opens up to let him in. What is going on out there?! she asks, searching the night from the entryway for any threats. She slams the door after him and begins to latch and bar it again.

The Kender rushes up the stairs next to him, protesting muscles slowing the already short-legged Kender significantly as he makes it to the window. Ontash calls to him before he goes out, What's going on?! It sounds like something's on the roof! Should ws go downstairs? the children seem on the point of tears, and Maria holds them comfortingly, singing softly to the pair.

Above, just a few boards and shingles away, Artanis methodically slings his bow over his shoulders and draws his swords with deliberate effort; the magical hindrance slowing his movements to a crawl.Mira draws and levels her crossbow at the creatuee, but it pounces forward too quickly! Massive jaws snap down at her neck and shoulder, preparing to completely engulf her neck! The nimble bard evades the attack in time to prevent the worst, but savage teeth still manage to clip the side of her arm. Her crossbow bolt fires blind and sails off gods only know where. The beast growls in a fearsome voice, You should not have involved yourself. Now you will be the prey!


[Actions Round 3?]
[Wow... min damage from the wolfman... lucky break]
[Normally ranged attacks can't be made while in melee, but I allowed it for the light crossbow since it is a 'trigger' weapon and not as large and unwieldy as a medium or large x-bow.]

Jerry aims her sling but has no targets.

Mira fires her crossbow (with silver tipped bolt) at the wolf-man in the moonlight (-1)

Letting the crossbow fall in pain she draws the 'Bakkis' Short sword, the blade singing as she aims the point towards him.

"Prey? You think people are prey?" She asks striking at him with the weapon.

Simple [1d20] = 15 Hit AC 4
[1d6] = 1 barely touching him.

"The wolfman thing! ISONTHEROOF!" Pyros will try to get up where he can get a shot with his hoopak, and silver bullets.

He will be looking to get above the blue dot in the top left corner yo get some space between him and the wolf thing.

Jerry says, "Merrick, I'm going to help. Got 3 sling stones I can have, please? This window could do with shuttering."
She trundles off to the roof casting Magic Stone.
