Artanis "rushes" to defend the bard by using his magical longsword. He raises the weapon and takes a strong swing at the creature, which appears to strike the creature.

Game Mechanics:
Attack with +1 Longsword
In Game Attack with +1 Longsword: [1d20+1] = 15+1 = 16
Damage with +1 Longsword
In Game Damage +1 Longsword S/M: [1d8+1] = 1+1 = 2

occ: not sure what i can see from inside the house so ill give two options

cross will cast Summon Swarm on the already injured wolf tangled in the vines if he can't see them he will throw gar at the wolf that has ignored the illusion

Merrick hands Jerry his pouch of sling stones, Right... just... be careful, ok? He says, concerned. He closes the glass of the window and the shutters all but a crack so that Cross can still see to maintain his illusion.

Jerry selects three natural sling stones and begins casting her spell. High above, Artanis moves sluggushly as if swimming through honey. He rushes as quickly as he is able to slash at the creature with his magical longsword. The beast sees his lethargic movement well in time, and side-steps the slash. "Prey? You think people are prey?" Mira calls out as she stabs at the creature. It dodges aside with an almost otherworldly grace, narrowly avoiding the thrust.

Inside Jerry finishes her spell, the three stones glow briefly before the light fades. She rushes through the kitchen and pantry as the family stampedes dowm the stairs past her, It's on the roof! It's no normal wolf! Ontash says frantically as he ushers his family into the kitchen, clutching his huge crossbow.

Jerry continues up the stairs and out onto the roof into the cold night air and a scene from nightmares. A massive wolf-like beast looms on the peak of the roof above, the inclined distance adding even more to its already daunting height. It growls ferociously in the moonlight as it snaps savage jaws at the bard. Mira moves nimbly away from the poorly aimed attack.

Pyros scrambles onto the rooftop, loading one of the precious silver bullets into his hoopak. With agonizing slowness he whips the weapon back and forward, launching the tiny missile, which sails by without connecting.

[The Wolf-man is a Large creature, so adjust damage rolls accordingly for him]

Cross prepares to target a wolf with a spell or his dagger, but no foes are visible. [He would have to move, which will end the Ontash illusion, but casting or attacking would end it anyway. He does hear that the creature is on the roof.]

Adran, Merrick and Cal continue to guard the den/kitchen area.

Elsa continues to guard the door.

W1 remains concealed.

Artanis slashes at the Wolf-man with his magical longsword (-4 slowed, -1 moonlight).

Mira drops her crossbow on the roof, the crossbow slides North to the lower section of roofing where it stops!
Mira draws 'Bakkis' Short sword and stabs at the Wolf-man

Jerry casts Magical Stone on 3 sling stones.
Magic Stone will last 30 mins, or until used. Jery rushes up to the roof to stand above the den window.


The wolf-man attacks Mira (AC 6, Armor spell)
Wolfman vs Mira Ontash's roof [1d20] = 2, [2d6] = 2
Miss! Badly

Pyros climbs onto the roof and fires his hoopak with a silver bullet (-4 slowed, -1 moonlight) at the Wolf-man.
Temp dex 17 (+2 missile wep attk), RoF halved so 1 attk this round

Mira keeps her blade drawn, realising that this creature is too much for her, instead she backs away slightly, attempting to gain distance to cast another magic missile.

(I was thinking she could tumble out of the way, then I realised she doesnt have that skill.. would a dex check help? Rolled a Simple [1d20] = 3.. basically she is trying to move out of this range without being hit, so she can regroup and wait for the others)

Never one to let a miss set him back, Pyros lines up another shot with a Silvered bullet.

Slowed Slinging: [1d10] = 6 [1d20] = 13 [1d6+2] = 6+2 = 8

Using his taunting skillz while winding up his Hoopak:
"You son of a Mongrel! We aren't the prey! You're right in our trap!"

As soon as there's no more than one person in direct melee with the wolfman Jerry throws her 3 Magical Stones at it.

Artanis takes a deliberate swing with his magical longsword at the wolf dude and the results are the same as his last swing.

In Game Attack with +1 Longsword: [1d20+1] = 15+1 = 16

OOC: Exact same result twice in a row. Unseen Servant is truly odd with this character's rolls.

Cross, hearing the news that the more dangerous foe is above, drops his illusion and rushes through the pantry and up the stairs. Do they need help up there? Elsa asks as the mage rushes by. I can try to get Adran to hold this door. Just as the Elven mage reaches the loft and makes his way through the window, the bard comes sliding down beside him! Her boots thump onto the lower portion of the roof, and she backs away warily, Bakki’s short sword raised and all her attention on something behind and above Cross.

Turning his head, he sees the massive figure of a wolf-man looming like a demon on the highest peak of the roof and snarling evilly at the group. Cross quickly moves out onto the shingles and puts a little distance between himself and the creature, taking up a place beside Jerry.

The cleric mage rears back and hurls her first stone, just as Artanis slashes at the creature. The beast avoids the ranger once again, but at the cost of ignoring the stone. The magically enchanted rock catches the thing right in the back of the head with a sharp Crack!. The ranger watches the thing’s eyes lose focus as it topples forward, sliding down the roof! Instinctively, savage claws scrape and grope at the steep surface, but fail to find purchase! In an instant it slides free and falls from the upper portion of the roof to the ground far below with a sickening Crunch! The ranger peers cautiously over the edge, just in time to see the wolf-man shake itself. Gripping a clearly broken shoulder, it begins to flee eastward; its long stride quickly eating ground. Pyros rushes to the peak of the roof and calls out his challenge, but the creature either doesn’t hear or doesn’t care.

It’s long legs quickly carry it around the side of the barn, the remaining free wolf following closely behind in a rapid pace.

Cross moves to the loft and through the window onto the roof.

Mira withdraws by sliding down the taller part of the roof and drops a couple of feet to the less steep portion: Dex check [1d20] = 3, pass. She continues to withdraw, sword ready.

Jerry throws her magical stones (able to damage creatures only hit by +1 weapons) at the Wolf-man.

The wolf man falls backwards and begins sliding off the roof!

The wolf-man flees Eastward around the side of the barn.

Jerry’s target is gone, she doesn’t spend the last 2 magical stones.

Pyros will hoop and hollar at the wolfman thing as he runs away! "Let that be a lesson you over-sized stink hound! He will do a little dance while he gathers up his rope.

{OOC: Not sure how long it takes to pick oneself up, i.e did the wolfman lose any of his movement and still able to disappear from sight this round? Did anyone get a shot at the wolfman through the window?}

Artanis will sheath his longsword and flip the bow off of his shoulder, with the intent of firing at the entangled wolves when it is his turn to do so. He continues to feel like he is trying to move while under water.
