If Mira comes close enough for Jerry to see that she's hurt, then Jerry will try to patch her up while the others gather and make a decision as to whether to pursue the wolfman. (Or not).

Jerry tries to mark the spot her sling stone went in her head, but the constantly moving vines make it difficult to rely on more than a very rough area. Mira makes sure she has her weapons, and checks her wound. It is relatively minor, but still painful. She asks the Ranger if he can track the beast as he collects his bow.

Elsa seems relieved when Pyros doesn't go haring off after the creature. Let's get back inside, ok?

Jerry asks, "Who else has been hurt?" and follows Mira inside and tries to mitigate the wound's effect.

[Jenara]

"Damn Wolf got me, I tried to stop it, but.." Sighing Mira clutches her arm, barely managing to keep sheave the sword she slumps into a chair. "Elsa. will I... If getting bitten turns me into one of those things, you all have to promise to kill me."

"There is no point chasing it, he knows the forest better than us, we cant see in the Dark. I say we take a dead wolf and dump it on the porch of the neighbours, if they see what is happening here, perhaps they might consider actually doing something."

"Let's go see what the others are doing!" and he will race off to where the others are gathering.

Artanis finally shakes that perplexing slowness that affected him to such a degree - including producing a mental fog. As he retrieves his bow he lightly smacks the side of his head - as a swimmer would to get water out of their ear. But in his case he's trying to clear mental cobwebs.

He listens to Mira talking faster than a running gazelle and follows her down off of the roof. "I can try to track it in the morning. We will see if it was bleeding or not. We should try to get some rest now - I doubt they will be back tonight."

Jerry tries her Healing skills on whoever needs them and then des the rounds with magical healing starting with the Red Gypsy.

[Jenara]

"You are right." Mira admits as she lays her head on the couch, still fully armed, "I should sleep... its just a flesh wound Jerry."

Everyone re-convenes in the den, save Elsa who takes a place by the hall to the side door; though she has her head by the inner door listening. Jerry looks for any injured parties, but Mira seems to be the only one hurt; and the wound is miraculously small for the size of the creature attacking her. [Literally min dmg] She waves the cleric away.

Is... is it finished? Is the thing... gone? Ontash asks quietly, the children looking at the windows and latched doors fearfully.

[Jenara]

"Gone? For now. We took out his wolves I think, and he is injured, badly." Mira explains with an attempt at a smile.. "We have a good idea of what we are facing."

[Nocturno]

"One little stone... amazing..."

"With Mystra's grace," adds Jerry.

[kerap]

Artanis comments, "Mira is correct...gads did I just say that?" He grins and laughs, happy to have his faculties about him again. "I doubt that it will return tonight. Let us rest, have devotions, study or whatever it is you need to do, and be up early tomorrow. And see if we can track that thing...and kill it. Good job everyone. Even though I felt as if I was swimming in molasses. "

"We need a protection from his magic. It's similar to mine." Mira suggests letting the agreement slide, there was no reason to shout about it, rather they should move on.

Ontash seems somewhat relieved, but the hint of worry crosses his brow at the mention of the creature's escape. He comforts his family, assuring them the danger has passed for tonight.

Yes, I think some rest would serve us well... perhaps we should also set a guard. I am still fresh for first watch...
