Episode 2: (Dread) Lock and Load

maxx turns to hunt "can i give your lighting staf thingy to this guy?" one robotic thumb pointing over

"The spear? Yeah, go for it."

maxx tosses the spear at the Talon "you can use this but i wana play with it later"

3M takes off after the fleeing minion, dropping the pistols and drawing his swords. He tries to run him down and stop him.

The fleeing minion, aided by his super-strong leg muscles, quickly outdistances 3M.

[Jimmy Bannana]

"Thanks for the spear. Oh, by the way, I don't think I caught any of you names. And, that lady got shot, so we should see if she's ok."

Hunt is already over by the woman. "She's alive." Hunt says. "I'm Agent Josh Hunt." The VTOL plane hovers overhead, and an agent comes down on a zip cord. He and Lopez help the unconcious female agent onto a stretcher, and it rising toward the chopper. Suddenly, a burst of white noise deafens everyone, making anyone without ear protection (all but Talon and Max) fall to their knees. Max and Talon are just deafened.

Talon activates his thermal to see if there is anyone hiding nearby. He also does a datalink scan to see if there is something in his immediate vicinity (10ft) that he should mess up.

maxx becomes incorporeal and scans the area readying to attack she camands her drones becom incorporeal as well and scan the area to alert her to any dangers

The white noise blast subsides, only to be replaced with a song, playing incredibly loudly. The earth shakes. The song is recognizable to all but Talon, they heard it in the helicopter earlier. Scans reveal nothing.

3M clutches his ears at the white-noise blast. He tries to concentrate on healing his newly-shattered eardrums. Woozily he tries to get back to his feet.

WB: ow.
YB: Aaaow!
3M: *Ow %*(^445^7(&, ow!*

Momma always said listening to rock music too loud would turn me deaf one day... He staggers upward. How right she wa... Ooh! I LOVE this song! Turn it UP!!!1!one!eleven!1 he exclaims when the chopper tunes fly by (presuming he can hear it again.)

"Does anyone know where this is coming from? Talon does a radio scan, just to double check that they didn't miss something.

(The song is not originating from the VTOL, they heard it in the now-exploded helicopter they took over to the island)

Talon's radio scan reveals no likely origin for the song, it seems to originate from mid-air.

maxx mutes the sound of the song filtering out the predicable sound waves "well now what?"

Invisible rock band!?! Die evil spirits dieee! Marc sprays bullets into the air all around, aiming well overhead of his allies so he doesn't risk hitting them. He aims from wherever in mid-air he thinks it is coming from (if he can determine any direction at all. If not he shoots in wide arcs until his current clips are empty)
