How long does it take to transcribe a spell?

Don't forget to roll your %chance to learn each one. For how long it takes, there isn't really a set time so lets say 1d4 mins/spell level. Copying can only be done if the spell is understood by the person copying it. Spell pages taken up by a copy are 1d6 for 1st lvl spells, 1d6+1 for 2nd lvl spells, etc

CLW x2, Endure heat/cold, Entangle

And Artanis did not eat or drink anything during the show - being the frugal, live off the land, type of guy he is. But breakfast is an altogether different meal!

I can be a bit compulsive and I've been on a course (Systems Eng'g) all week but had to drive a couple of hours each way each day so am trying to play catch up on everything so I tried to retrofit the conversations I'd missed into one breakfast sitting whilst edging towards functional integration (thank you for bring so welcoming) that you folks have a achieved over time. Its like a reaction agaisnt being worried about missing things if that makes sense. I'll calm down when I've caught up. Sorry again..

I wouldn't worry, Mira is a whirlwind herself (Art recently suggested that she says more in a day than he does in a month)..

Can I ask one thing, if we are going to exchange spells, could we at least ask each other IC?? Mira will ask Jerry when she goes upstairs.

TBH I actually thought we had:

After acknowledging any reply, she greets the latest arrivals (Mira and Elsa)...
{OOC: If this is an appropriate place to transcribe spells, Jerry will do so here, explaining to any that didn't hear the various offers what's going on.}

"Sole casters?" Mira asks as she steps down the stairs..."So, of you want to trade spells, I assumed that's what you meant. Do it up stairs.. If anyone has a spell to armor themselves magically.. I'd appreciate it."

Lvl 1 spells: Read Magic, Detect Magic, Magic Missle, Shield, Comprehend Languages
Lvl 2 spells: Web, Deeppockets, Invisibility.
She'd like to learn Armor if Jerry will allow)

Jerry shakes Mira's hand...After the brief exchanges of words, Jerry nods seriously at the warning about casting magic in public and puts her book away but adds, when no staff are around, "My book contains: 'Armour, Colour Spray, Copy, Detect Magic, Identify, Protection from Hunger & Thirst, Protective Amulet, Read Magic'. You're very welcome to copy any of these."

Jerry's offered to cast Armour on Mira for today and she can transcribe any spells that she want to.
