Sornin feels compelled to listen, but thinks it is rubbish.

Carrion, Rose and Rowan join the stage ready to fall asleep without further word from the wizard magician. Pik disappears behind a few people in the crowd and Sornin stands with his arms crossed over his chest making direct eye contact. The great wizard looks away scowling and focusses on Maharron.

Pik spots some Gnome starting down the mage and sneaks his way over, whispering quietly to him in Gnomish. Wut's wif dis guy? I fink he's gonna try somefin'...

Replying in kind: "Well I'd be amazed if he pulls anything off." Without looking away until the wizard does. "Sornin is the name." When he does look away he will extend his hand upwards to normal human height for a shake, but will be pleasantly surprised when he needs to lower his hand.

Sornin feels a tug at his pants leg and can glance down to see a scaly, reptilian claw sized for a Kobold waving at him from beneath his seat. Call me Pik. You know dose people he'z got?

"No, no I don't. I wonder how he is going to embarass them." He will pull his hand in quickly and rub it on his clothes like that was his plan the whole time... and try to conceal his surprise at finding a kobold under his seat.

[Nova Lunis]

Maharron joins the stage and lines up - as soon as you're all standing in a row (except for Pik and Sornin) your heads lol and you fall asleep standing up. Carrion completely collapses to the ground as the poison he drank appears to take full effect. A bright magical spotlight illuminates you all on stage while the audience and clearing are in complete darkness. The wizard turns, a wicked grin on his face, and throws his hands in front of him
I've decided that putting people to sleep is too easy. Let's have some real fun shall we?
He waves his hands over the awkwardly shy human, now snoring, and he begins to fade into nothing until he completely disappears. The darkness all around Sornin and Pik is completely silent.

Umm... wut?

Pik readies his bow beneath the seats, prepared to leap out and defend himself if necessary. He looks about to see if the rest of the audience is even still there, feeling in the dark with an arrow.

"What the in the hells?" Sornin will fumble around in his pack for to find a candle and light it.

[Ooc: is it too dark for Kobokd/Gnome darkvision?]

You perceive the darkness is magical in nature, it almost feels heavy as if it has weight and you can barely see past the ends of your fingertips.

Pik feels nothing in the darkness.

Uhoh... Dis is bad... I don't think we're in da forest anymore... Pik loads and aims his bow at the magician, ready to shoot if the malevolent mage makes a move to hurt anyone.
