Sooo... I was thinking of doing a specific character already in the Marvel universe (Deadpool) whose comics I've followed for years. I've basically read everything up to the last 4 months of publications.

I realize this might cause some issues, but i'd really like to try it if you can work with me on it. I'll obviously build him to the appropriate power level and such. Let me know, thanks.

Yeah, go ahead. If you wanted to do the Punisher, I would say no, just because he's too serious and gritty. But Deadpool should be fine. If you can make a new name and backstory, that would be nice, but if you can't, then the original will work, I guess.

I can play him with severe amnesia (a common theme in his comics) and you can dictate what/when/if he remembers anything. He'll think he's someone else with their own history/backstory and play the person rather cliché. His brains grow back but not his memories (that'd be like re-growing an arm with a tattoo on it...)

DP: "Don't do it! The GM will get mad and send something way above our power level at us!"

Everyone: "umm... you forgot your meds this morning didn't you... Man, that accident really messed him up..."

DP Yellow box: They don't understand. Only we can see the code!
DP White Box: This isn't the matrix.
DP: "Man, I love that movie! Keano Reves was all like Pew Pew, wooom!"
DP YB: But what if it IS...
DP WB: Then there wouldn't be a GM, only machines...
DP: "The GM could be a machine..."

Everyone: "Great, now he's arguing with himself again... You coming?"

DP: "Yeah yeah... just... everyone try to roll natural 20s, ok?"

Everyone: "Umm... sure... whatever you say, man..."
