The Quartermaster looks around, "Actually, no time will pass..."

The being looks at Jacen again, "Exactly. However, I have many things to do. In fact, I believe that another will be showing up here soon enough. I believe you found a parchment with the key as well. Take that to the historians."

"What historians? Who's showing up next? Wait, will my heist plan work? What should I do with the captives? Aren't goddesses supposed to give advice?"

As she listens to Jacen, she sighs. "Arkantum. Someone. The Locust is taking a detour. Let them go, any other choice ends badly for you all."

She looks over to the Quartermaster and back to Jacen. "Advice? Do I look like a being of infinite wisdom? Well... Nevermind. I'll give you a tip though."

"Stop staring at Shandra's backside. It's awkward for everyone who knows about her. Especially for me."

The Quartermaster turns around, walking off. "Thanks Mel, I'm going to go drown in a well... Oh wait, I can't."

As she storms off, the being sighs, looking at Jacen. "I like them more than those windbags in the temple."

"So... let them go? Completely? And, well, don't gods have infinite wisdom? Anyway, thanks for the advice! One more question? Is there any more hidden loot on the ship?" He picks up a stick and a leaf and pockets them.

She watches him pocket the foliage, "Letting them go would leave you in the best position. Also, I've already told you what you -need- to know, so I guess I'll indulge you."

"He left a keg of rum under his chair. That's about all you'll find on that ship. Oh and don't try and open anything with that key, unless you want to come back here of course."

"Any idea how to tell the crew? Unless you want me to tell the truth."

She looks at him, laughing. "You're a pirate, isn't lying -your- specialty? You could just tell them you had a change of heart."

He bows, respectfully. "Thank you, Lady Melinar. How do I return?"

Melinar sighs, looking into her hand. "It's obvious, yet you just realized that now? I still wonder why I am dealing with you, I mean, you are a pirate after all. I can only guess how hard it has been for Shandra."

She pulls out a golden key, this one colored a charcoal gray, "All you need to do is turn the key the other way. Here, use this," she says, as a small stone pedestal emerges from the ground. It has a golden inlay in the center. "You'll both be returned to where you were before you left, and I wouldn't tell your crew about any of this."

Jacen looks offended, but brushes it off. "Thanks." He uses the pedastal.

Reason is is that well... You rushed through it so fast that you'd probably end up a Lvl 2.5 before they reached 1000xp xD
