As Jacen Terro wakes up to the sound of knocking on a wood door. As he sits up, he notices that he is still aboard his ship, The Voyager, and that the Quartermaster is knocking on his door. It's unusual for her to be requesting him so early in the morning, so he gets up and manages to put on his longcoat before he reaches the door.

The Quartermaster seems to be in a fairly bad mood at the moment, given by the fact that she is angrily staring at Terro. She has also seemed to have changed out of her normal pirate-like wear and has donned a black skirt and a tighter shirt. As she continues to stare angrily, she turns away and starts heading below deck; her blonde hair whipped as she rapidly turned. She only says one thing.

"Follow."

He grunts in reply. As we go downstairs, he swings through the galley, grabbing a cup (or three) of coffee. "What's going on?" he questions her. "Do I really need to be up this early?"

"What's going on? You tell me." she says, walking into her 'office.' She walks around behind the corner, she says "Stay out there, I have to do something."

As Jacen stands there, drinking the large mug of coffee, he notices a golden-tinted shield sitting next to her counter. The shield itself doesn't look that unique, but there is not a mark on its surface.

As the Quartermaster walks back around the corner, she is carrying a piece of parchment, most likely the inventory list of the ship's stocks. She moves around in front of her counter and sits down on top of it, legs crossed. "Let's see. We are missing about twelve feet of rope, almost a pound of gunpowder, and my personal supply of whiskey," she says, her falchion setting on the counter beside her.

"Do you know where any of that went?"

Jacen walks over to the shield, examining it as he speaks. "Well, we needed the gunpower for bombs, the rope for fuses, and the whiskey for... planning sessions. What's with the shield?"

Looking up from her list, the Quartermaster notices him looking at the shield, "It's special, and it's mine. As for your use of my whiskey, stop using it for your 'planning' sessions. We have kegs directly under us. Use them." As she sees that he is so intent on staring at the shield, she grabs her falchion and walks over to it. "Fine."

She takes her falchion in hand and swipes at the shield, the blade creating a long scratch across the fine surface. "Give it some time, it'll be good as new. Now, on to our other matters," she says, turning the page over. "We've got very little gunpowder left, and we'll need to go and buy some more. I heard that we are only a day's voyage to Theelon, and I think we should stop there."

"The merchant city? You are aware that there are multiple warrants out for my arrest, correct?"

The shield just sits there, the mark already beginning to fade from its surface.

She looks at him, slightly smiling. "Oh yes, I know. However, there are no warrants out for me because I am but a quartermaster," she says with slight sarcasm. "I am fully welcome in Theelon, so I am able to buy us more."
As she gets off of her counter, placing her parchment and falchion down, she walks over and opens up a chest against the far wall. As she leans over, looking into the chest, she locates what she had been looking for. "Luckily, I payed attention at the last market we went to," she says, pulling two small barrels out of the chest, "I picked up two barrels, each has two and a half pounds."

"I believe you own me some whiskey."

Jacen nods, expressionless, already planning how to steal the kegs. "Alright, so we buy some more stuff in Theelon. I need to see you in the meeting room at 11. I've got a new plan for a... caper, shall we say." He turns and leaves the room, longcoat swishing behind him.

She sighs, clearly knowing what he is planning. She places the barrels back into the chest, locking it with a small key, and walks back over to the table. As she picks up her falchion, she walks back out the door, following. "You realize that eleven is in about twenty minutes, right?"

As they walk out, there are crewmen tending to various tasks aboard the ship. This floor, the lower deck, contains most of The Voyager's firepower and a few more rooms including the storage room, galley, and a few extra rooms. The upper deck is up the stairs, and the cargo deck below them.

I walk around the ship, gathering my officers, telling them about the meeting at 11.

As they walk, Jacen takes to informing the officers, while the Quartermaster notices members of the crew staring. She sighs, "It seems I still can't leave storage without everyone eying me. I'll be back soon," she says as she walks back to storage.

Some of the officers return to their duties, while others walk to the meeting room, which is conveniently next to storage. As he walks up the stairs to the main deck, a few officers are scattered around. One of them is standing next to the main mast, and another is watching the pilot do his thing.

"Greetings lads! Fine day. Any of you free? {First Mate} Agemmon, I need you, and whoever else isn't busy. Meeting room, 10 minutes. It'll be worth it."

Agemmon looks towards Jacen, hearing the words that were said. "Is this going to be another one of your 'Get rich easy' plans? You know how the last one ended. It took days for the Quartermaster to consider talking to any of us."

He looks around, "Either she hates you, or she hated the dress."

One of your last 'capers' involved using her as bait. She is pretty upset still, but it was a few weeks ago. She's almost over it, but not just yet.
