What, do you mean like ability score rolls? How should I do that? Invisible Castle is down and even if it wasn't, you can't access it anyway, right?

STR 14, DEX 20, CON 13, INT 14, WIS 13, CHA 13

I might rearrange those if I go with a different class, but for now I'm leaning toward a Fighter.

Who's the "we" in that question? I'm not sure I understand the question.

I have read the old games, and not once have I seen the use of the Resurrection spell to save a party. I mean, I know it takes time(And a diamond) but come on. Or is this just 3e stuff and I'm confused.

Well, it all depends on the availability of the spell, too. A cleric must be level 14 at least and have a WIS score of 18 or higher. To date, I've never run a game that made it past level 7, at best. And it's not always possible to find an NPC cleric that powerful, either. Especially in low magic, low level games, which I pretty much exclusively run.

The only games I've run here at Planet that have had actual PC deaths in them were Unlikely Heroes (but the PC was brought back by a god), Three Relics (the whole party was killed, so nobody was around to bring them back), and War of the Lance (which takes place when clerical magic is just returning to the world, so most clerics are really low level).

This will become a lot more apparent, but the mechanics will not be revealed until it occurs
