If you aren't using class/race restrictions or level limits, then no, you can just ignore them.

Hi.
Still recruiting?

About the Tinker class. What does it do beside machinery? And can you explain again what do you mean when you say that the difference from magic is that it can be reused and memorized?
Beside the percent progress of the three attributes, what are the other changes as it progress in levels?
Does it progress fast/slow compared to other classes?

If I'm a Tinker and I have say Int 9. I get 5lvl 1 creations and 2 lvl 2. Now suppose I created say:
1st level: Armor, weapon, ladder, trap box (if you meddle with it without understanding it you could lose your fingers) and say spyglasses build on kite.
2nd: some kind of wings, explosive device.

So can I build all these in X days, and now what? Can I build new things? What I mean is, is the limit is a max per existance or max per day or what?
And again, if I can increase the number of creations only with Intelligence, does it mean that if these item survive (especially survive the character frustration) I can stay with the same mechine until I'm level 34 and beyond?

Can I ruin machines in order to develop new ones?
Does the Tinker is always a dual-multi class or can it stand by itself?

I think it is creative. Both the character and the world you desribe. I'm happy you start at level 1. It makes it easier to build the character and then every attribute/item/gp the character have, you earned it by blood! (or by holy water, burns from fireballs, acid, overcoming great puzzles...)

I saw in the humanoid book a Fremlin.
It just fits perfectly to your world. It is tiny. It can Fly. It has bonuses to Int and Dex, so it is the perfect Tinker. :)
Not sure it's a good character though. They can barely damage with weapons. They are afraid of EVERYTHING.

To be completely honest, I need to find someway to remember the mechanics for the Tinkerer again because I thought it up almost two months ago.

I'll rework it and make it much more explained.

You can ruin things to make new ones - hence salvaging.
You don't have to dual, but just remember that you are not specifically a fighter. You are like the Engineer, you can deal damage yourself, but most of your specialties are making things to do more.

So it can provide bonuses? Special attacks? And I would have thought that if you are engineer you would progress with levels. Learning how to combine more materials. Learn more chemistry, physics which are not just granted by being intelligent.

Essentially, yes. You will also earn xp from doing your thing, I mean don't wizards and clerics do that already?

INT is just used as a way to show that you have the intelligence to hold onto the memory of all these plans. Someone with an INT of 3 will most likely not be able to make a Seige weapon.
