Although note that DMs can add and remove people from their groups on their own. Just go to Profile -> Usergroups -> Manage Groups. Then choose the group you want and click "Manage Users." This way you aren't required to sit around and wait for an admin or mod to add/remove people for you.

Winged Elves, AKA Avariel, are found in the Complete Book of Elves.

They are treated like any normal elf, but they get -2 CON and +2 DEX, have wings that let them fly (speed 18, maneuverability class C), are extremely claustrophobic and very weak to fire.

If they lose more than 50% HP they can't fly anymore, but can glide until they lose 75% HP.

Their wings burn off really easily and it takes several weeks for them to regenerate.

If they are in tight spaces, they must make WIS checks or go insane. If they fail more than 4 checks, the insanity is permanent unless a Heal or Remove Disease spell is used on them.

It's like Aarakocra, except more... difficult.

They're quite similar. They get more bonuses than Aarakocra, though, being elves. Like infravision, sleep/charm resistance, bonus to hit with certain weapons, and so forth.
