He suddenly remembers the servant's quarters. Maybe someone there will be willing to talk in more privacy.

He will thank the bartender, walk grab the jacket, and head up the stairs.

Pyros heads back out of the bar and to the small outside covered entrance to the servant's stairs. He finds the door locked as before, but that has never stopped him before...

Open Locks (90%): [1d100]=32

Knowing they took offense last time, and wanting to speak with someone on good terms, he won't be super quiet.
And will even give a "Hullo" as he comes in.

Pyros deals with the lock in short order and finds himself at the base of a small flight of stairs that ascend sharply eastward into darkness. There are no windows or ventilation, giving the passage a stuffy, confined feeling. The wooden stairs have numerous discolored patches on them, but it is impossible to tell if they come from spilt food, meekulbrau, or blood.

Calling out above, he hears no response. The steps creak underfoot as he climbs to the servant's common area. Two tables which are identical to the ones found in the dinning area below fill the center of this room. Many doors, all of light construction, line the walls. The only light comes from two small round windows high in the ceiling at both ends of this area; a dim grey from the storm outside. The sound of rain provides a dull but calming din.

Currently there is no one in the servant's common area, but several doors appear to lead to individual rooms.

====
There is one door on the west wall, 4 on the north wall and 3 on the east wall.

Apologies for the map quality. I have been trying to use the old app I originally had for this but something happened and i lost all of the maps and tokens from before >.< In addition, the masking property has stopped working properly so I can't just tske the images and paint out what you don't see yet b/c of that...

All good on the quality.

He will walk around a bit, kicking the ground casually looking what is on the tables.

Pyros looks around but nothing much interesting is laying out. Some empty tin plates and a wooden mug. The Kender calls out, but no response comes from any of the rooms

Without even thinking he will head over to the first door on the left, and give the handle a shake.

Moving to the western door in the corner, Pyros fiddles with the knob and finds it unlocked. Opening the door reveals a small 10x10' room that is obviously a living quarters for one of the inn's employees. In that light, it seems unusually well decorated. Although a bed, chair and desk are the only items of furniture in the room, they are all of fine construction. Whoever lives here seems well off for a humble inn employee.

He will raise an eyebrow.
"Well."
He will close the door behind him. Then check out the desk.

The desk has some writing matls, coarse paper, pencils, ink and quill. A few small items like buttons, small sewing kit for repairs, a spare pair of spectacles and other miscellaneous odds and ends.

"Well that's mundane." To no one in particular.
He will pull drawers and take a quick look.
"Doesn't hurt to take a look!"

The side drawers have other nick-nacks and posessions, including a small pouch of coins (10gp 5sp), small statuette of a dancer made with copper, a spare belt, a deck of playing cards, and other miscellaneous.

This feels so wrong, but he would probably just peruse the whole place if allowed.
==================
The dance definitely catches his eye. Closing the drawers. He will leave this room, and check out the next.

Pyros leaves (call it room 1) and goes to the next room (#2 will be upper left), but the door is locked.
