How much space does Pyros have?

He wants to continue verbally abusing the "Violent Violinist", while trying to stay out of his reach. Using the parrying or dodge type actions.

He will mock him by playing an "air" violin, while evading him.
Sorry, I should have been more clear. He is in melee range now

Max distance to be in the short range (no penalty to hit) is 30 yards. In combat rounds that would take him 3 rounds to move at his current rate of speed 3 (since that equates to 30 feet during combat).

So 'jogging' you can double your speed in one round without any check, but that will only get him 60 feet (20 yds). If he makes a str check he can 'run' at 3x his speed and get to the spot he wants to shoot from in 1 round. Failure on the check just means he only went the 60 ft

If Pyros sees a vegetable market, or a tanner, he wants to slip over to that.

In this area of town he doesn't really see that. Those would be more 'market square' kinds of things. We hand-wave found Jerry some garlic. What is the leather for?

He is looking for a fireproof leather for his Hoopak, so he can shoot flaming bullets.

Also he will need some thick oil/tar and some torches.

He is putting together that everything is hurt by fire...

A fine chain net might be better for flaming stuff , but there are definitely treatments for leather to make them more resistant to fire. it would probably have to be specially made.

Torches are np, 1cp each
how muchnoil/tar is he looking for? We can handwave that shopping bit. Call it a gallon of pitch (like used for boats) for 2sp

Ok, that sounds easy enough. So many just take a few extra leathers for his Hoopak, so he can replace them?

OR soak them in water so they are moistened?

Unless someone has a chain that could be purchased.

He will take time and cover like 10 bullets in goo.

Also, will it make it stick to the leather?

Soaking the leather in water might make it not move right, so maybe a -1 to hit? But would protect it from the fire for a few rounds probably. While wet it will protect the leather somewhat from tar sticking but once it is dry the tar will probably be a problem

A thin chainmail net could be made for this purpose, but it would probably have to be comissioned. or if he found an armorer with some scrap chainmail he could buy it might be able to be fitted up with minimal modification by someone skilled

Ok, so lets say he gets a spare ouch or sack, puts 10 bullets in it with tar. He'll get some on his hands when he pulls one out to use it though
